If you think Philly is a good team, I don't know what to tell you. Let's just end there. We'll agree to disagree.

Why is there a big ass disco ball hanging from the roof of the 76ers' arena? And why did I have to go to the 2nd page to bump this thread?

Probably because this series is just terrible.

This series has been very grind it out and gritty. But yes, a little more offense is desired.

I just tuned in 5 minutes ago. Someone please explain what happened? I can't believe the score. Not surprised the Celts are winning (even decisively) but by 23 points?

Celtics are playing ridiculously well on offense. Just swishing every jump shot.

Celtics defense has been stifling and their offense has actually been working. Also the fact that Philly has no real half court game hurts them greatly. Also helps when KG plays like he's in Minnesota.

Shoot 55% with 4 turnovers against a top 4 defense?

    That is impressive.

Getting blown out in your own court is disgusting, I don't think I'll watch non-elimination games in this series. The Sixers have to be the most frustrating team of this season.

    Umm yeah...

Celtics are still a very good team and gonna be a problem for whoever they face in the next round.

This is incredible. On defense, it's like the Celtics can read the minds of the Sixers' players and anticipate what move they are going to make.

Whatever boost the Sixers got from Monday is blown away.

This is more about the Celtics than Philly. If they play like this they would beat any team in the NBA.

Philly is not close to that level.

Their half court defense is still phenomenal. This is why I feel the Celtics still have a shot at representing the east.

Especially if Bosh is out. The Heat are not going to be able to score with two dribble drive guys. At this point the Pacers have a better shot at beating the Celtics than the Heat (with bosh out). Should Lebron and Wade will the Heat to the next round though, I really feel they are going to need Bosh to make it even to the finals.

KG is playing like Minnesota KG in these playoffs. Unreal. This guy is 36 years old on Saturday and he's playing like a 24 year old.

Unfortunately, that type of offensive performance happens once every 10 games.

Yes, their D is still elite. But the Heat's D is just as elite. It's Boston's inconsistent offense that is the problem. It's their 4th time in 9 games breaking the 90 point barrier; they're averaging 89 points per game (that's taking into account this 107 point explosion). Of the teams remaining, only Philly is worse in terms of points per game.

Yup, he's in a hot zone right now. Making fadeaways, 20ft jumpers... everything. He's shooting 60% in the playoffs; he won't keep that up though. But nice to see 2 of the greatest PFs turning back the clock and putting up 20/10 like it's nothing.

Defense is infinitely more important than offense at this point of year. Two dribble drive guys are not going to beat Boston's defense, I just don't see it happening. Offense can be inconsistent, but if you can force better offensive teams to grind out games and play it a sluggish half court game then it won't matter too much. What's going to matter is down the stretch the Celtics have a lot of guys to depend on. Pierce, Garnett, Rondo, have solid bench guys, and great coaching. That's what great teams are made of.

Also Garnett has been playing like this since like after the all-star break. With the crazy NBA schedule out of the way I think he's going to be able to keep this up.
