I switched to Verizon from Sprint and have had nothing but positive experiences thus far. Sprint was absolutely HORRIBLE! I would never go back to that ghetto of a phone company.

My plan for 500 minutes and unlimited pictures/texts works great as my family and most friends are on their network. Therefore their "in Network free calling" feature rawks.

I've had T-mobile (in Austin) for almost 3 years now, and I'm totally happy with it. Only once did I have a problem with the customer service, in which case, I hung up, and called a new rep, and the problem was solved immediately. If I've had a problem with my phone, they are extremely quick to resolve it. The reception isn't so great in some buildings, but when I'm in those buildings, I'm not taking calls anyway, so it's not an issue with me.

I have T-Mobile and am very satisfied. However it does suck that night-time minutes don't start until 9.

I've had T-Mobile for the past 5 years and I've never had one complaint. Good customer service, awesome reception, cheap plans, and good phone selection.

My wife and I have a family plan that is 800 minutes, but included in that we also get free nights, weekends, and unlimited calls to other T-Mobile customers.

if i get a verizon phone off ebay, does it have to be unlocked and stuff? or do i just go to the verizon store and they'll switch it over to the new phone immediately?

it you do, make sure that it's e911 compatible (able to dial 911 if out of coverage area or service or something like that... i forget). otherwise vzw won't activate it. also, you won't have a warranty if the phone breaks if you by it off ebay.

noperz. ebay, pawnshop, or whatever. you can't get insurance and you get no warranty.

I've had both Verizon and T-Mobile, and I prefer T-Mobile over Verizon.
