Yea, I liked the T against Ratliff. This was was dumb. What was the ref trying to prove?

"Yao, don't step to me with that weak hand-on-the-back politeness crap ever again. If you contest one of my calls, you better throw some F-bombs."

Maybe the ref was on our side trying to toughen Yao up!

The ref just want to make a point that he is only gonna accept passes made to him by a selected of players.:p

Great post. I felt exactly the same way, that maybe my love for the rockets actually made me see something that wasn't there. The ref saw it, so that's proof enough for me.

That technical call was pure bullsh*t. It almost looked like that ref had something against Yao. I swear Yao gets so little respect that I think he's going to explode and go psycho like Ron Artest someday.

Agreed. That ref is a total jerk. He acted as if Yao putting his hand on his shoulder was some malicious act of aggression.

The ref saw what Yao did to Jon Barry in the seattle game and fear Yao's touch.

lol. now, that makes more sense... it's gotta be a HARD shove if yao was trying to immitate Skinner there. Well deserves for that kind of foul, I say, well deserved! :D

-- and just in case, here is the sarcastic disclaimer.

Why would they celebrate over a technical foul call against their own team?

I like the fact that JVG stood up for Yao and said that was a bad call.
