TheFreak, It has been pointed out already that the rationalists are not completely rational and the homers are not without some rational thought in their arguments. Charles had his contract assigned to Houston for the contracts of Sam, Horry et al. That is different from Dream wanting to walk with his contract money and the Rockets getting zilch in return. Also, Barkley was traded in the offseason when rosters are in a more fluid state and the possibility of cutting a deal is much greater than in the current situation.
