I called him a bust from mid-season his rookie year (and even started a thread on it). What a total loser and a moron. The Texans should pass on him. I bet if he ever has any success in the NFL, he will blow it again in short order.
not to keep bumping this thread, but I have a friend who's little brother played on d-line for A&M from 03-07, red shirt in 03. This guy played alot, he said Benson was harder tackle than A Peterson. But both were pretty menancing
Makes sense, AD's difficult to bring down if you try to go high. He's a very upright runner, so it's easier to bring him down if get him low. Meanwhile, Ced's a true north-south runner who keeps a low pad level and is good at keeping his feet moving so that he can squeeze out the extra yards. The difference is that Benson does not have the breakaway speed that AD has.
