I had to look up this thread...here at work Listening to:
Old Dirty b*stard's "Ni**a Please"
I think i got it off of one of those music club things so I wouldn't have purchased it otherwise, I'm not into rap. This guy is controlled chaos! The more I listen to it, the more his "Old Dirty Style" starts making sense!

Mr. Oily, you rule! Another analogy about ODB is that he is like Screaming Jay Hawkins. A total original and one of the funniest people ever (how many times can you say that about a musician these days).

Just got to give a few guys a nod for recommending this to me:

I was in a record store today, just browsing, and noticed Superchunk on the sale rack. I remembered Achebe and someone else mentioning them as being good, so I picked up three of their albums for 4.99 each... what a great deal! These things kick butt, especially "no pocky for kitty."
