The Rockets think Sura was pulling the media's chain...though he is not 100% healthy....Obviously a wait and see on Mooch, but this team has rediculous backcourt depth, they'll be fine...Wesley for what it's worth looks great....

Moochie is going to be our PG savior? WTF?

I hope they speed up the process in getting Jay Will or some other available PG...

another interesting note is that there was no talk about ward. he is as waived as a player can be.

I still remember Mooch being pimped prior to the season he was traded for Spoon.

Supposedly Mooch was in the best shape in his life then, and Mooch was one of the few players that showed up to work on his game every day in the offseason, he shaved his head to show his committment to being a different ball player. Yadda yadda yadda. Preseason rolls around, and he's crap. Regular season rolls around, and he's crap. So he gets traded and JVG goes with Mark Jackson.

I'll believe Moochie's valuable for anything other than his expiring contract when I see it.

I can see Sura doing that. But I can't see Moochie being anything on this team. I think they're trying to pump him up to facilitate a trade.

Has there been any Charlie Ward sightings? Is he in great shape. Is he planning on competing for playing time with the Rockets? He has been the forgotten man the last year. I would like to see what he can do as a piece of the backcourt, with the Rocket's A team.

I remember a sport writer from one of the major media centers even predicted Moochie to be the Most Improved player of that season! ROTFLMAO  :D

Hope CD will do something about this before training camp starts...Although Sura's a fighter, I don't expect him to be in full throttle just like what he did last season

I can't see JVG saying something like that just to get other team's interest. He's the type of guy who only worries about this team. He's not going to praise a player just to up his trade value.

If it helps CD make a trade for another player Jeff wants, you don't think he'd do it? Remember, Jeff is all about having a better team.

If Moochie Norris is our "great hope" for the backcourt, the season is in jepardy. The vintage Celtics couldn't win with Moochie as their starting PG. He couldn't start for most church league teams. Having Moochie as the Rocket's starting PG is like having a Jag with a one barrel carb with no fuel and no tires, or seats, or.....

I would be shocked if Moochie did find his way into the rotation for even a few weeks while Sura is recovering. I just cant believe that JVG would put him out there ahead of DA and Wesley when both can play a few mins at PG.

Great news on Sura. Best case senario looks like their is still a chance (a very small one) that he could actually still be ready for the start of the regular season. Even if he is out till late november thats not that bad. We have enough depth at that position to hold the fort down for a few weeks.

I would LOVE to see Moochie be a contributing and solid player for us. The guy seems to love the game and is fun to watch when things go well. Hopefully he can save the celebrating of assists in the 1st quarter for the post game celebrating.
