1.it looks like CD will over pay for Posey
-Overpay is a relative term. That might just be Posey's market value. I am not sure how many teams are really goign to make strong offers wit the Lux tax.

2.he didnt mentian 1 word about griffins main weakness NO HANDLE,that tells me Cd hasnt a clue
--At least griff is working this summer. The only reports we have on Taylor and Cato this summer is that they ate a bunch of food that the cheesecake factory.

3.not tradeing him even after admitting alot of teams are calling tells me Griffin must have naughty pics of Cd or something
--Can't really trade Griff by himself. His salary is not high enough to get quality in return. He would have to be packaged and that would cause other problems.

4.the caller that passed Norris,Cd actually stood up for Norris and said "he hit 8 game winning shots the year before". Geez get a clue Cd.
--Mooch was not the player last year that he was his first year here. Should he really bash the him on the radio though?

5.also,if Mobley is the shooting guard, and Boki is the small forward, why sign Posey to 7 years 35 million like Jeff said he will command??????Big mistake. You can forget being a player in the 2004 FA market if we lock in Posey.Posey = Bowen. How much does Bowen make?????
Like I said earlier, that might just be Posey's market value, but I am not sure that we should pay it.

You can forget being a player in the 2004 FA market unless you trade Cato, Norris, and Taylor for expiring contracts. It really doesn't matter what Posey is signed for.

    1. What has Boki done to show that he is ready for the NBA? Nothing yet and Rice is definitely not the future at the 3 spot.

    2. Even if we let Posey walk we will not be a player in the 2004 free agent market. We will not be a big time any time soon in the free agent market unless you consider the mid level exception enough to be a big time player. Get use to it, we will be over the cap for a long long time regardless of Posey.

If Posey wants that kind of money, I hope to God we let him walk. He isn't worth 6 yrs 35mil. If someone else wants to pay that for a decent role player who can't shoot, let them. Like someone else mentioned Posey = Bowen and how much is Bruce pulling down these days?

All I can say is that he was highly regarded as an early entry in the draft. At 19, he was selected to the Rockets as a project and future contributor to the team. 2 years later, EG has performed decently (for sure nothing spectacular) and the fans are ready to bail on him. I remind everyone that he is still very young and still has unmet potential.

Griff will not even be a starter for us, Mo Tay is a better player offensively more consistent overall. All I can think about is us not having Richard Jefferson! Nice to have Kenny Thomas at PF and Richard Jefferson at SF, a better team all around. OH well!

10-15 pounds is the most muscle you can add in one year without steroids? Nope, not true. I have added 20 lbs of muscle in less than a year. Also have friends gain more.

CD is just trying to raise Griffins trade value.

Don't you guys know by now not to believe this kind of stuff. This is just more westside hullabalooba. Every summer around this time you have Collier putting on 20lbs of muscle, Mo Taylor killing KT in practice, Glen Rice shooting lights out ect.., so I wouldn't take this too seriously. ; )
