yes i get the same feeling from that quote. i thought that snyder was the backup sg which would make luther (for now) that backup PG. if we are looking for a backup PG AND SG then luther may be on his way out. i guess being a combo guard confuses JVG. not only is that quote telling about luthers future here, but we can also see what they think is the starting lineup right now. yao shane tmac snyder alston i would like to keep luther and add banks as the backup PG.
Maybe I'm in the minority here but I really don't think Snyder cuts it as a starter, it's more like Juwan starting. Just a starter because according to the Rockets they are "starters."
