Did you know that on Easter Island in the South Pacific, Scott Padgett is worshipped as a god?

Well, how about Peking Duck if Yao cowers when someone dunks on him?

Or Chicken a la King (yes ahbuchen, I know it was probably invented in Iowa) when Yao has his way with Brad Miller.

Or Chop Suey (yes ahbuchen, I know) when Yao gets a foul for sweeping his arm down on someone

Or Pu Pu Platter for those off games.

    1) Who knows what the situation might have been at that time. Maybe he was sick, injured, or maybe he just was pretty green at that time.
    2) Players get better, if he has the desire and has some some skills give it time.
    3) I dont think we are pinning our hopes on Badiane. I doubt he will ever be our STARTING PF which is why I want us to go after Swift. But Badiane might be a nice energy guy off the bench. That would be a plus.

after checking the above link, i confirmed that chop suey is fake as well, since it was invented in the US. oh well, my mistake.

I don't think the chemistry is that good right now. It is when you see half of the team could not play due to flu, then you know they have a good chemistry....

Btw Malick just reurned from injury. The sad thing here is that his club has been knocked out of the prestigeous Euroleague.

Fegwu, good find! That was the photo I was originally referring to. His arms look like Alien arms. In fact, his head looks almost too small for his body.

Badiane and Spanoulis are two 2nd round picks from the Rockets that are currently playing oversees.

We MAY add them to the team next year. I think it depends on what we do with the draft and our MLE this summer. If for some chance we WERE able to get Stromile Swift, I could see the team leaving Badiane overseas for another year to develop. But if we dont get someone like a Swift we may just bring Badiane over now so we have someone on the bench that can be an energy rebounder.

I am sure the Rockets will try to get both of them to come over for the Summer League teams and might even keep them here for training camp. It might be in those two areas where the Rockets deceide where they are at their development level and if they should then keep them on the team or send them back for another year of seasoning overseas.

looking at those pics, i can see why people see garnett when they look at badianne, i wouldn't want to guard him, looks strong and fast and POINTY, ouch. yes he's a project, but our team as it stands has about 1-2 more years before we need replacement at the 1 and 4 (if we don't need backups already).

also, someone told me that Sura looks like Peter North, and ever since I haven't been able to look at Sura the same way (especially when he looks at the cheerleaders.)

I personally think Sura looks like Peter Weller, RoboCop. And with all the injuries Sura has...he plays like RoboCop!
