You're not out of the picture when dealing directly with me - I have you and Nomar pretty close, but you're right this Malone characther gets in the way. Do you think we can change his name and make him another player with the same production Cat? ------------------ We can reach our destination, but it's still a ways away.
Cat- can you confirm Heath's request please??? Thanks. ------------------ The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?
If you read this thread Cat I need confirmation of stats for Nomars guys including minutes. If you have the time just cook up stats for Nomars first and second string as you did mine. I know vagly what Nomars guys is producing but lack full statline and how many minutes they have gotten to produce their stats. ------------------ We can reach our destination, but it's still a ways away.
Heath, I'm not at home right now so I can't get you the end of the year stats... however, these were Nomar's numbers from the first 70 of the 82 game season, and since he didn't make any more trades I'm pretty sure these numbers didn't fluctuate much at all. Jackson-- 11.2 pts, 7.6 reb, 32 min KG-- 25.3 pts, 12.1 reb, 4.6 asst, 41 min Reef-- 19.3 pts, 10.4 reb, 36 min Hughes-- 13.4 pts, 2.4 reb, 26 min Bibby-- 14.2 pts, 8.4 asst, 34 min Reeves-- 5.5 pts, 3.6 reb, 16 min Swift-- 6.3 pts, 4.6 reb, 15 min E. Strickland-- 5.9 pts, 2 reb, 15 min ------------------ President of the Mo Taylor, Jason Collier, and draft Richard Jefferson fan club! Draftsource.net-- the premier source for draft info. Profiles, rankings, mock drafts, and more! ClutchTown.com
They will do fine. Now I can compare the offers better - thanks. Btw Nomar you oversold your guys a bit. Bibby 15/9 = 14.2 and 8.4 then 15/9 is being very kind Swift 7/6 = 6.3 and 4.6 thats being closer to a fraud But we might be able to pull a deal still - are you willing to mix up the trade some? I might want your rookie draft more than the standard draft - and I'm intrigued by future considerations. I might also put more in a trade. ------------------ We can reach our destination, but it's still a ways away. [This message has been edited by Heath2000 (edited April 26, 2001).]
Thought I'd hook you up with my numbers too Heath. Malone: 26.1 pts, 9.4 reb, 4.1 asst, 35 minutes Lafrentz: 12.1 pts, 7.7 reb, 1.93 blocks, 29 minutes Marshall: 13.6 pts, 9.7 reb, 30 minutes After thinking about it, I can't give up my 3 best players for Iverson, a pick, and Geiger. If you don't want Marshall, I could replace him with future draft picks if you want, or if you want Jackson could you give me a better player instead of Geiger? I'm not asking for Marion, maybe Howard? I'm not thinking as crazy as I did when we were discussing the trade, so if you want to modify the offer, feel free to do so. ------------- [This message has been edited by Band Geek Mobster (edited April 26, 2001).]
My stats from the duncan thread: Heath: Mutumbo-- 12.8 pts, 14.8 reb, 3.65 blocks, 36 min Hill-- 7.2 pts, 5.2 reb, 22 minutes Marion-- 11.9 pts, 8.3 reb, 32 minutes Iverson-- 30.3 pts, 3.7 reb, 4.4 asst, 39 min Snow-- 8.2 pts, 7.5 asst, 28 min Howard-- 14.9 pts, 5 reb, 3 asst, 30 min Lynch-- 5.6 pts, 3.7 reb, 16 min Nash-- 5.7 pts, 3.4 asst, 3 reb, 22 min McKie-- 5.5 pts, 2 asst, 2 reb, 15 min Geiger-- 5.6 pts, 2.8 reb, 13 min These (over) were my regular season numbers. I also have stats from the playoffs - here is my misery numbers: Mutombo: 39 mins, 9.6 pts, 14.6 rebs, 4.2 blocks Hill: 29 mins, 10.6 pts, 7.6 rebs Marion: 30 mins, 12.8 pts, 7.4 rebs Iverson: 40 mins, 29.4 pts, 3 rebs, 4 ast Snow: 27 mins, 5.4 pts, 7 ast Geiger: 8 mins, 3 pts, 2.2 rebs Lynch: 16 mins, 5.4 pts, 4.2 rebs Howard: 25 mins, 11.2 pts, 4.8 rebs McKie: 10 mins, 5.4 pts, 2.2 rebs Nash: 16 mins, 7 pts, 4.6 ast ------------------ We can reach our destination, but it's still a ways away.
So Heath, Tell me what you think about this deal? Jazz trade: Malone Lafrentz Donyell Marshall 76ers trade: Iverson 1st pick Geiger ------------------ I know you're not that interested in giving up Mutombo and Iverson in the same deal but I'll throw out a deal anyway, hehe. Jazz trade: Malone Lafrentz Jim Jackson 76ers trade: Iverson Mutombo ---------- I feel creative tonight, so I'll throw out another one. Jazz trade: Malone Lafrentz Jim Jackson 76ers trade: Iverson 1st pick Howard -------- Anyway, I was bored. I want to restart trade talks with you. If you don't like these deals tell me which one you like the most and how we could fix it to work for both of us. [This message has been edited by Band Geek Mobster (edited April 26, 2001).]
Just wanted to paste your stats to this thread while I'm thinking - do you have the statline of that starksbum too or did he stop getting stats when he left your starters Lafrentz: 12.1 pts, 7.7 reb, 1.93 blocks, 29 minutes Malone: 26.1 pts, 9.4 reb, 4.1 asst, 35 minutes Marshall: 13.6 pts, 9.7 reb, 30 minutes J. Jackson: 17.2 pts, 5 reb, 3 asst, 33 minutes J. Williams: 8.7 pts, 5.3 asst, 25 minutes M. Jackson: 5.6 pts, 4.7 asst, 16 minutes R. Lewis: 6.7 pts, 3.3 reb, 19 minutes D. Coleman: 8.1 pts, 3.4 reb, 15 minutes ------------------ We can reach our destination, but it's still a ways away.
About your deals. I dont see that big a difference in what you give up in the first deal and the second deal. Granted that you might give me more in the 2nd deal but when you offer me the first deal you got to remember that you have to cut J.Jackson as one of your two players submitted to the draft anyway. As for being creative - how about this? Jazz trade: Malone La Frentz J. Jackson M. Jackson 2nd rounder 1st rounder next year (2nd year) Sixers trade: Iverson 1st rounder Lynch McKie Geiger 2nd rounder next year (2nd year) If that don't throw around your roster nothing will ------------------ We can reach our destination, but it's still a ways away.
Haha, man you know my team's going to suck if I give up all of that, so I can see why you would want my first round pick for next season. BTW if I traded you Malone, Lafrentz, and Marshall, I wouldn't put J. Jackson up for the draft. I'm not sure how the draft rules work, but J. Jackson would be moved to the bench so he'd be automatically protected behind Iverson...I hope. I'm sort of trying to rebuild this team in 2 seasons. That's why I'm willing to give up 3 starters now. So I won't be willing to give up future draft picks. Let's be serious though, tell me a deal you would want that didn't include draft picks in the future. No one on my team is untouchable, you could find some guys that will help you contend easily. I mean I only lost 10 games in the western conference, imagine how you'll clean up in the east. ---------- Malone: 26.1 pts, 9.4 reb, 4.1 asst, 35 minutes Lafrentz: 12.1 pts, 7.7 reb, 1.93 blocks, 29 minutes Marshall: 13.6 pts, 9.7 reb, 30 minutes Starks got buried once he lost his starting spot. This is the only statline I could find Starks: 15.0 ppg, 34.2% shooting overall, 42.2% 3 pointers, 1.0 steals ------------------ [This message has been edited by Band Geek Mobster (edited April 26, 2001).]
Can't blame me for trying can you. You said you would give 3 starters for someone too build your team around - but I know the draft next year was going for overkill. Malone La Frentz J. Jackson M. Jackson for Iverson Howard Geiger Lynch and Nomar how about: Bibby Swift Rookie draft pick 1st round draft pick 2nd rounder next year for Iverson Lynch Rookie draft pick 1st round draft pick [This message has been edited by Heath2000 (edited April 26, 2001).]
I'm sorry dude but that's getting kind of crazy. Those are 4 of my top 6 guys. I said I'm not willing to give up regular picks, but I'm willing to give up a rookie pick. Does that interest you? I also can't get rid of any PG's without getting a PG in return. Howard and Lynch don't offset the players you propose me giving you. Why don't we see who the deal breakers are? Who do you definitely want in return for Iverson? Then we can try to work around that. ---------- [This message has been edited by Band Geek Mobster (edited April 26, 2001).]
Damn. Thats a deal. But i think ill be short a draft pick... Sorry about the estimation. I swear, i did my best.
BGM Geiger fell out of the trade offer so I did edit him in - I don't know if that makes a differnce. Yeah I could perhaps take a your rookie pick, but your not that high are you? Then again I really like my deal with Nomar, even if I don't get a superstar back. I think I'm crazy. btw now I'm hitting the sack so no more post for me now... ------------------ We can reach our destination, but it's still a ways away. So do we gotta deal Heath??? ------------------ The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?
Yeah I guess so - If nothing else materializes today we can do this deal tomorrow, or? ------------------ We can reach our destination, but it's still a ways away.
At least this thread helped my post count, hehe. Good luck with the regular season Heath and Nomar. Maybe one of you will have a 72-10 record like my team had. jab ------------------ Sign up for season 2 of the CC.net NBA Sim League!
Ok Nomar - We have a deal. Ok thats Iverson - now I'm shipping Mutombo. (next year i will have no stars and the first draft pick) ------------------ We can reach our destination, but it's still a ways away.
