I come here for rockets stuff and there is not a great rocket poster among the bunch!!! at the least you should call it the miscellaneous forum awards Rimbaud vs Rocketman95 and Behad vs Jeff
So, you honestly think that "dr. rocket" with his 82 or 83 cryptic posts is better than Jeff, Behad, RM95, rimmy, or anyone else like a BGM, DoD, Sammy, haven, etc.? No offense, I like reading Doc's posts, but his reputation precedes him in my opinion. There is nothing wrong with wanting inside info. Hell, that is why I registered, and I enjoy reading those threads the most in the Rockets forum; however, there is more to this BBS than the main forum. There's the NBA Dish, the Fantasy, College Corner, Feedback, and of course, the Hangout. Personally, I enjoy reading the Hangout more than any other forum here. I think the better posters post here in the Hangout, and IMO, reading the Hangout helps make anyone here to become a better poster. I think you would understand this better if you had more than 31 posts. It is hard to get into lurking in the Hangout forum, I believe, compared to the Rockets forum, and I would guess that the majority of the lurkers here lurk in the main forum.

manny ramirez b/c I have only 31 posts my opinion is discounted??? this really IS a clique!!! son I have been coming to this page since it was called Clutchcity 97. just b/c I dont post does not mean I dont know the BBS. many of you are here b/c of this miscellaneous forum. if this is a miscellanous forum popularity contest than you have the right people. but I consider this a rockets site and none of the 4 are good rocket posters. there were good rocket posters as top seeds in this thing but they got choked out for this clique. if dr only has 80 posts or whatever then one why was he a #1 seed and two why is it when he posts this place shakes??? then what about popeye??? behad I did vote at least twice. dont make me change my vote for you
Bullrider: Jeff is an excellent poster of all forums, including the Rockets forum. That is why he will win this thing, even if he had Doc Rocket, Popeye, and Clutch as his opponents.
Son? LOL! I gotcha beat by a year. Clutch and I first met each other (virtually, if not in reality) back in late 1996. You are certainly entitled to your opinion, however, this BBS is not the same as this site. The site is most definitely a Rockets site, but the BBS is far more than that. Just because you don't like it that way doesn't make it so. The place shakes because people believe them and they usually say things with authority. That doesn't always make them right all the time. Technically, this is best poster on the BBS not in the Rockets forum. Given that, it is no surprise that Doc and oeilpere didn't make it that far. They don't post much and they only post in one place. Fact is, a lot of sim-league'ers made it much further than some of the Rockets forum guys and Hangout guys. That doesn't make the tourney screwed up. Frankly, I think Puedlfor deserves consideration just for doing this whole tournament in the first place. The work he put in is pretty damn amazing. Besides, I'm not really sure why you are bent out of shape anyway. Lurk or post, you should know this place well enough to know what people think if you've really been here that long.
