Everyone that wants to play ball around 3pm, we are going back to Rice University. A couple of us were at Spotts Park at 11AM and only 3 people total showed up. The court is too slippery because of dust covering the court so we are going to Rice.

You cannot park in Rice U anymore, except out at the stadium, and that is a long walk.

Find entrance #16 on Rice Blvd and park outside of Rice nearby that entrance. They walk in that entrance and you should be able to see the courts about 150yds into campus.

I went to Rice and saw some some guys playing 3 on 3, but I wasn't sure if they were from here or not. One of them played with us afterwards and I mentioned to him the website but he didn't know of it. Hopefully next time, we can really organize something.

Does anyone here know of a place to play VERY competitive pick-up ball during the week? And at what times during the day are alot of folks at that particular location playing ball? Let me know...Thanks!

I play on Tuesday nights in Conroe (far north side of town).

We are pretty dang competitive - full court 5 on 5, until it gets packed and then we play 4 on 4 half court. I love full court! :)

Yes, I go to Fonde Rec center in down town off of Allen Parkway. Its open all day long. Free to get in and even has a weight room. Its amazing how many people are ther during the day. And I thought I was the only one having a good time being unemployed. :)

I go to Oshman's sporting goods store over off 1960. Those rims are 11 feet high.

I don't know. Rice is always a good outdoors option.

    Guys,

December 28th is still an option. The weather looks great for Saturday and I'm trying to find out about an outdoor court elsewhere, but if not we can still play at Rice. I say we meet up around 1 pm and just play as long as we can and then go out for some food, unless someone knows of a location where we can cook and play ball.

    Rice at 1?

I would still like to try Spotts park, even though they said it was an ice rink. I think it's just a nice setting.

Yeah, let's try Rice at one since nobody else replied with a different place. Who is still planning on making it? I am still recovering some, so I can't go full speed, but I'll still be out there.
