Lack of effectiveness in big games?

    Texas Tech - 175 yards
    Wash St. - 230 yards
    Wisconsin - 133 yards
    Michigan - 119 yards

People rode this guy's jock b/c what he did against Kent St. CLARETT WAS 7th IN HIS CONFERENCE IN RUSHING YDS / GM.

That does not usually win you many awards!!!

Near bottom of Big XII in rushing D giving up 175 yds/gm

Great game, versus a good rushing D. (allowed 140 yds/gm)

Gives up 155 yds/gm rushing, a basic wash.

They give up 133 yds/gm. Looks like they did ok against Mr Heisman huh?

    106 vs. Indiana
    42 vs. Purdue
    4 carries vs. Penn St.

    Still????

My vote went for LJ. He was the best RB in the country this season.Carson Palmer put up numbers that probably at least 5 QB's put up every year. LJ had a season that was,by the numbers, one of the top 10 EVER for a RB. If JoePa had a little Steve Spurrier or Tom Osbourne in him,LJ would have approached 2500 rushing yds,IMHO.

That post was terrible. Lets just say we could say the same for McGahee and Dorsey.

    You are a joke.

    Carson Palmer.

Many people say Gino Torretta was when the Heisman "jumped the shark".

Why thank you. It's good to see someone carrying the torch for respectful debate around here.

I just said what it was, and what a coincidence, I was right on the Heisman voting too.

I really thought Johnson would win thinking that if ithere is no clear cut favorite, you've got to give it to a guy who went for 2000 by default. Guess not.

Congrats to Carson Palmer. I honestly thought that McGahee would make a better showing than he did, but I guess being a sophomore hurt him.

However, you won't see me complaining. The other 2 times that a Cane won the Heisman, Miami lost the National Championship Game. Now I feel better about their chances.;)

This coming from the same person that decided to hurl a random insult at me in a completely unrelated thread.
