    There is a big difference between knowing Bidge is past his prime and hoping he gets hurt after 2999 hits. Rocketfat is a loser with nothing better to do. Did Bidge steal your girlfriend?

    With how bad the Astros have been, watching Bidge try to get to 3,000 is the only thing making Astros baseball watchable right now.

    Yeah I am just shocked at the hate McLane gets ... The Astros have made more big time moves over the past 10-15 years than almost every team out there in the Major Leagues.

    I'd wager than in the Wild Card era, half of the WS teams made it by accident. Or luck, if you prefer that word.

    Did we make the playoffs by accident 2 of the last 3 years, and 6 out of the last 10?

    Accident is not a good word for 2 of the last 3 years. The Astros should have only made the playoffs in 2004. In 2005, the Astros made the playoffs because of unbalanced scheduling.
