    God dammit.

this astros team is seriously pissing me off.... at this point, i say to hell with them. doesn't even look like they care.

start wit garner and timmy.... then move to ensberg, lane, everett, ausmus, and biggio. the fact that those 5 still get considerable playing time is a slap in the face to every astros fan.

Ensberg has started only 3 games in the past 2 weeks. If Gar sticks with this lineup of Loretta at 3rd, Lamb at 1st, and Berkman in right, then we won't be seeing Lane very often. Biggio's been dropped in the lineup which also makes it more likely he'll be dropped FROM the lineup when he hits 3,000.

He's the same guy who's loving him doing bad. He's a ****ing idiot if he even tries to call himself an Astros fan.

I don't care if Everett is the best defensive SS in baseball, which he is not. Did he win an imaginary gold glove last year?

He still kills us to many times at the plate with a combo of others which makes him even more unacceptable. My opinion could change if he could at least steal mass bases like a bad hitting fast SS should, hit in the clutch, or wasn't our only HORRIFIC AWFUL hitter. I'd rather have an average defensive SS who could hit for decent average as well. It's not like Everett knows how to draw walk either. Not to mention it's obvious he has no more upside anyone could argue, one could only argue he can't get much worse. :(

CAREEEEEEEEEEEFUL. Careful. Keep dogging on Everett and the "You obviously dont know baseball" guru's might start showing up. Regardless of how much longer you've been watching baseball than them.

Wow, it only took you about 20 hours to post this after someone else posted nearly the same exact thing.

I'm not sure why that's a good criterion for knowledge.

Harry Caray watched a lot of baseball. So have Milo Hamilton, Tim McCarver, Richard Justice, JdJO, etc, etc.

Well then feel free to argue the merits of Mr .200, 1 Home run, .265 on base average (sickness). Meanwhile the Stros continue to struggle with their offense while he, Ausmus, and Ensberg use the Defense card.

Biggio should probably have been highter than #7 in the worst players list. How many times now has he had 4 strikeouts this season in one game! It's so sad how many times Everett and Ausmus absolutely kill rallies. Ausmus cannot throw out a runner to save his life. (Thank goodness Jason Lane seems to have finally been benched.)

If there was a Top 10 Worst owner list, worst GM list, and worst manager list, McLane, Purpura, and Garner would easily finish in the top 3. :(

At least Biggio can keep a rally going by leaning into a pitch to take a base. I give him due credit for being the all time HBP leader to make his OBP better. Shows he's a team player. He needs to show the others how to take a pitch, but he's old school and didn't come up guaranteed to be a multi millionaire. Everett would probably laugh at the idea of risking an injury thinking in his head he has 10 more years to play in an Astros uniform. :D

So you'd rather be the Royals? Or Pirates? Orioles? Phillies? Cubs? Rockies? etc? Or do you think this team made the World Series by accident?
