    He is garbage as a first scoring option and playmaker from the perimeter (at this stage of his career). If we make a trade for a legitimate perimeter scorer (i.e. C Butler) Ariza and Batter will perform much better in this offense. Also, with that scorer and Yao on the floor they will floorish (next year). This season was all about seeing if Ariza was ready to be 'that guy' for us and clearly he is not quite ready. That's ok, now we know. Morey can go get 'that guy' for us now. Ariza was still worth the MLE.

    Yeah, these "Rockets aren't very talented, but they are hanging around" articles are really inspiring. Well, get some talent and size and bring it in here! Generally you get what you pay for, and some times you pay and you still don't get it (Yao and TMac). I appreciate the playoffs run last season, but it has been a very long time since this team was a serious contender.
