No, we haven't "clearly" seen that. Stop making **** up, you just look as stupid as the idiot who made up the stuff in this "article".
Ok, everybody assume that making a trade will automatically make us better. You have to realize that not all trades work out. Using just Rockets history, look at the Barkley Trade and more recently, the T-Mac trade. Neither of those panned out the way we hoped they would. You could even say each trade hindered the Rockets development in their respective eras. A trade can hurt us just as much as it could help us. For whatever decent player we can get for T-Mac, whatever big contract we get back could hurt us in the future. Point being, trades don't make everything fine and dandy. How are you guys so sure that a trade won't screw up chemistry and make us worst? It's not as simple as video game trades.
Yup, just as I suspected. The Rockets are doing exactly what has to be done. Let him play a few curtain calls here and there, then ship his ass off to the highest bidder. God I love Daryl Morey.
Morey will be making the decision along with Adelman. Those guys have done well in their time here. McGrady wasn't their pick and he doesn't fit with the movement this team is making. I'm sure they will make a trade that benefits the team. Honestly, it would be hard to find a player that is a worse fit than McGrady is for this current roster.
tmac is an exception...because of his scoliosis and muscle imbalance he should have gone to a trainer that specialized in that. Yes, some trainers suck, but others are good trainers for the average person, tmac wasnt that.
it's not being cocky, that's basically what he did, but it was through realignment, not like he waived is wand or anything. Your body's muscles work in a chain-like reaction, when you got a glitch in there you're moving incorrectly/differently, continuing to train and play like that puts you further and further away from the proper balance in that chain, so evening it out practically does reinvent your body (movements).
McGrady for Kirk Hinrich and Luol Deng You could sell Battier as well to the highest bidder (get a mid 1st rounder, or a competant big.) Or keep him and be super deep. Hinrich and Brooks could start together. Hinrich is a solid defensive player with range for his size. Ariza would start at SF and Hinrich would be guarding the number two perimeter options at the start of the game (most of the time). Hinrich/Lowry/Brooks Brooks/Deng/Bud/ Hinrich can also play the 2. Ariza/Battier/Deng Scolandry Hayes/DA Deng is very effective in the midrange game and is overall well rounded offensively. He could start instead of Hinrich in that scenario but I like the idea of Hinrich and Brooks together. Especially next year. I have to think Chicago doesnt value Hinrich a ton and maybe the cap space would be worth it. Even if they asked for Bud, I would say no.
I don't believe any of this crap until I see a trade actually happen... We've seen this kind of worthless speculation every day for the last 3-4 years.
Horrible contracts. You would want Deng coming off the bench making THAT much? Deng is over-rated and over-payed anyway but i do like the idea of hinrich and brooks together only hinrich at the 2.
Lol. Give me ONE play from the 8 minutes he played that he was leading the fast break or running ahead of his teammates. He was the last to run past the half court line on many plays, and his teammates just sped past him. Going around and calling people idiots or dbags is not the way to stick around here rookie.
c'mon man, even the 2 mins of action clutch posted showed tmac getting back on a break where detroit ended up with an alley, tmac was in front of the rim, yes he didn't stop it, but i doubt any other rocket could have stopped that one.
That statement has no credibility. For all we know, his source is a random guy with another one-star-TMac-thread here on clutchfans.
I meant on offense. He played good defensively last game, but on offense he was clearly having trouble running with the team. Scola out ran him on several occasions. He was spending quite a lot of time around the 3pt line, so it was a little easier for him to run back on defense. I'm not hating on him. His defense surprise me, and it looks like he's got his elevation back, but he is still a step slower than others when it comes to running down the court.
Chicago is interesting pick, they got a few expiring players including Brad Miller. Something like B. Miller + Jerome James + Pargo for TMAC could work. There are 2 reasons why this could help us short term and long term. First, B. Miller will immediately fit our system and help our playoff run. Second, if we want to take advantage of teams in financial crisis and get an all star for expirings + young talent, its easier to package a J. James + Landry / Brooks than it is to package TMAC + Landry / Brooks. Just too much salary there.
Hunh?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!??!?!!?!??!!!???!!?!?!?!?!?!?!? That would we WAAAAAAAAAAY underselling Tmac. He has more value than a Charmin-soft Brad Miller, a worthless piece of crap like JJ, and, well, who cares about Pargo? Aim higher.
