Looks like Lin is going. Multiple reporters saying that he's being shopped around. Not really happy but you do what you have to do. Unfortunately for Lin he isn't really good enough right now to be a championship level point guard. This might be a good situation for both Lin and the Rockets. Lin can finally go to a better fanbase and Rockets can improve.

Agree with you on the 1st point but not the 2nd. Most teams play their starters major minutes during playoffs, with only 8, 9 at the most, players in rotation. You need a good bench to win championship, but not necessary a deep one.

A Calderon-Harden tandem would make the wost defensive back court in the entire league. We might as well put a pair of matadors back there.

Could Calderon be a target because he would fit within the Rockets Mid-Level-Exception allowing them the cap freedom to make another move in junction with signing Dwight?

BTW If all this moving and dealing is to squeeze in Josh Smith because he's hump buddies with Howard, I'm going to blow a gasket.

Hey maybe they are trying to clear out space to bring back Carl Landry.

    I can dream...

man you serious? that's what was reported. you really think what a coach says publicly is more truthful than what is reported by legit sources like Chris Sheridan?

Yeah... but mind you Miami turned this thing around partly because of HC cooking.

No way we can beat their Eastern C record in the West with or without Howard and Josh Smith

You need a deep bench for RS record

If this is true then they must be wanting to shoot at another superstar or above average player. Id rather get rid of Asik for a solid PF. Nothing against Asik but if we have Howard a verstile strong PF would be great. If we get rid of both Lin and Aisk we could get a solid player and then some better role players who prolly accept cheaper contracts because of three superstars on the team.

well, I am not surprised about the rumors, both expandable, I like both as I do with most Rocket players, they grow on you. Well besides TWill but he even got waived today so

    My wishlist

    Aldridge
    Love
    Rondo
    Bosh

There's no overwhelming hate from Houston fans, some posters however do troll him, but that's besides the point.

Lin fans invested money (NBA league pass) and time to watch him play point guard.

All they got was getting traumatized by watching him hand ball off to Harden and stand in corner.

So trading Lin would be great for Lin and Lin fans.

Also great for the BBS boards.

In other words, great for everybody.

The chance of lin and asik being traded to the same team is slim. I doubt any team would be willing to pay (forget cap hit) $40 million for two starting role players. But maybe a team so far in the LT would be willing to in order to save in other ways.

Am I the only one who DOES NOT want D12 and feels he is not a good fit with the Rocket's culture with his prima donna attitude? I'd rather bet on Asik and Lin and see how they continue to develop.
