Those 3 stars would still not be better than James, Wade and Bosh

You can superfriend it up with b-teamers all you want...

You need to have a TEAM (like SA) with GREAT chemistry to attempt to beat the Heat.

Just throwing together big names doesn't mean jack isht!

    See 2012-2013 Lakers.....

    Josh Smith isn't Chris Bosh....

Smith aint even an all-star..he's a good player..but not worth losing Asik for.

You do know in the past few years Coach Rivers have given Rondo a lot of praise. Said he is one of the best players he has ever coached.

Personally, I think Calderon makes no sense here. Our problem is not offense, it's defense. Calderon is pretty horrible on that end and also is ball dominant. I like his game, but not here.

I would hope to keep both.

Just the Whole Twin Towers thing is amazing.

And I believe in Lin he has the potential to be a decent Championship PG.

I would rather split with Lin tho.

IN reality, Doc Rivers left Boston for the Clippers because he couldn't stand Rondo. Also news have broken out how Rondo and Rivers almost came to blows in an argument.

Lin is somewhat expendable unless he turns Linsane again

I would hold on to Asik no matter what.... until of course it is another Allstar caliber Big man that can defend ..... JoshSmith, Anthony Davis, Duncan for a small contract, KG for a small contract

Hibbert is out of the question as of now... he hates us

Did you not watch him lead the Magic to the finals in 2008?

I dont really get why a GM would immediately talk to a reporter if he was offered a certain player. Would that really be in the interest of that GM?

We been trying to get out this hole since Pippen called Barkley a Big Fat Pig!! If we had him another year with Steve Francis running the point.. No telling what would happen..But we got blog down from all that crap we got from Portland. Now Portland help return the Favor with the Robinson Trade.. nice.. :)

You do know they have rules in place that wont allow you to go deep into the luxury taxs.

And Les is known for spending big time money in quest of building a championship contending team.

Adande is close to Mitch. As there are no players on the Lakers that are of interest to us, other than Howard, it must just be a cost saving thing. I'm not too familiar with what the cap looks like now, but is this a necessity to sign Howard? Are we looking for more than just Howard? CP3 sounds far-fetched so who else is out there that looks good for us? Or is this just a straight cost saving move? I can't believe that they'd drop Lin again after last time without a compelling reason, so methinks there's another deal in the works other than Dwight. We shall see~~~

Howard can demand a trade whenever he does not feel comfortable IMO

I think it makes sense if you have no interest in that player.

Agree, and to cach some extra pics or some cheap good role player.

If calderon rumour is true, I think Morey want Calderon with a cheap contract (2 or 3 million a year) So we can get around 5 millions in capspace in a S&T with lin

Just thinking: Asik can go to Washington for 2014 first round pick.

so Rockets has 13 million to spend in Smith and some other player and an exelent pick for the future

Trade Asik for Ryan Andersen or ilyasova. Trade Lin for Ariza+Jan Vesley

sign Dwight Howard and Jarret Jack
