Trade Asik and Terrance Jones to the Pelicans for Greivis Vasquez and Ryan Anderson.

 

I'd be upset if we traded Lin and Asik for JSmoove with a $17m contract. Heck no.

Jsmoove at most is $12m. Not a penny more.

 

Thats not fair to say. With Dwight and Harden, his masterpiece will be complete. He'll just have to make minor moves here and there for role players and prospects from here on out. No major rotational players being moved anymore.

 

It's not a bad way of telling Howard that he's the man in Houston now. We're ready to do whatever is needed to get him here. No one is safe, except for Harden (and Parsons, just because he's such a good contract for now).

 

OK, I think I understand what's going on now.

Morey has been trolling CF. He's been looking for good ideas, but is repeatedly stumped because he doesn't have time to sift through all of the LOF vs. LOH arguments to find the gold nuggets. Therefore, he has developed a plan to make the problem... go away. Like to Detroit's fanboards or something.

I'm all for moving them if it helps us. I just think it's stupid to do it based on the assumption that Howard is going to actually sign with us. Until his signature is on the contract and the league has approved the contract, and he's taking a dump in a nice mansion in downtown Houston somewhere, I DO NOT TRUST HIM AT ALL TO MAKE ANY DECISION.

Anyway, this news shouldn't be too surprising - it's the Houston Rockets we're talking about. If you're not a superstar with the potential to carry a team to a title, your job isn't secure. It's 'bout dem titles.

 

He might not be worth it, but someone will still give it to him. Keeping Asik and locking up nearly $30mil a year for centers just isn't good use of cap space.

I still really like this lineup, but thought this would also be an intriguing possibility also:

Beverly/Canaan
Harden/Korver
Parsons/Korver
Millsap/Jones/D-Mo/Smith
Howard/

So Asik/Dwight would be a better front court then Dwight/Jefferson?

 

I for one am excited for the possibility that our backup pg (who ended up finishing all of our games in the first place) may end up as our starter.

I'm skeptic about rondo because we already have 2 people who really want to demand the ball (harden and howard).

Anyone like the possibility of Tony Douglass and P-bev as our PG rotation (with Canaan as 3rd string) and trading lin/asik for a PF or a combination of rotation players?

Luckily for us I think Dwight has done a good job alienating all of his fans so we won't have to dael with them. Bandwagoners...yeah that's gonna suck.

 

Cmon man, that's just semantics. The way things are being reported, they are already making plans to get rid of Asik and Lin because they are so confident Howards coming.

 

Get out your personal feelings sleepy. The team stepped up like they suppose too and they had a hof coach and 2 hof players on that team. What did they do in the championship run with Rond? Name me at least 5 other PG's that averages tripple doubles like Rondo did in the playoffs n the regular season. Trust me I will wait for you to Google such info.
