We have his bird rights, we can resign him at any cost. It would come down to if Les is willing to pay some steep luxury tax penalties.

Nobody has ever needed him to shoot. In fact, everybody has always cringed when he shoots. It has never stopped him.

He makes terrible decisions. He takes terrible shots. He can't hit free throws (and we're talking about playing him next to Dwight?!?!)

I know he has talent - but I really feel he'd be more of a liability than an asset.

All of that said, I'm agreeing with CoachBadLee. So I'm probably wrong.

I'd like Calderon here. We could get him for less money than Lin. I'd say around 6.5M could work. Then we should trade Omer to Boston for a few picks and Courtney Lee. With left over cap room we can offer Millsap a nice deal and bring back Cisco.

For people saying Calderon can't play defense, that's why Beverley is around.

Maybe this is all a smokescreen by the good guys? Rockets FO being cocky is a good plan, but this could backfire. Although, I can imagine Morey sending out the messages while thinking about what's for dinner and dessert tonight.

Well, if you stack great defenders at the 3/4/5 then I think a Calderon/Harden back court could work fine.

Hopefully we get Garcia back once the other pieces are settled. And Delfino will be out till around December anyways, so maybe we can get him on a cheap contract then as well?

So... I am getting a real strong feeling Morey is going for a complete rebuild overnight from meh to contender, and he is going for broke. He is blowing up the whole team to put something together that will contend with the Heat NOW. Anyone else getting that vibe?

I have that feeling you get right when you crest the high point on a roller coaster; you sort of stall for a minute, you are thinking "this if either going to be freaking awesome or it's going to totally suck", and then you clear the hump and plunge into the abyss... I think we're in for an exciting ride!

This was before the Harden trade. I think it's clear that Morey would have never pursued Lin if he knew he would end up getting Harden.

I looks like the Pistons fans like the idea of Jlin for Calderon. Wow!

Why we trade Asik .. Dwight wants to play with him. If you do sign a decent backup like Hickson and then YOU TRADE ASIK LIN PIECES for LMA
