Why would Kyrie want to leave Cleveland st this point. They just won the draft lottery and have the chance to add another blue chip player to their roster. Their future looks promising

He said today that Billy King is going to come back to him with something that is more suitable (he told him he doesn't want to coach any more)

I don't see how adding Phil fixes the Lakers. The Lakers problem this season was health.

We're all forgetting at one point their PG rotation were all out due to injury. Pau was injured, Kobe was injured, even Dwight played hurt. Yet, they still managed to only just miss out on the playoffs.

Letting a PR girl run the show magically fixes their roster? Jackson coached great players, teams but they were assembled by other people.

    Yeah, true.

I'd still favor him taking the job than not taking the job but I guess we'll have to wait and see (or we'll never know, ha).

I'm sure he talked to both Dwight and a certain PG that he spent last summer in London with.

Gordon tried and he failed. I can see people trying, but it always ends up in failure.

Wasn't for example Washington's unwillingness to take Harden all to do with needing the salary space for Wall?

The story I remember was that OKC turned down Beal for Harden, and GS turned down an OKC offer because they didn't want to take back the extra salary OKC would force on them, or wanted to add Biedrins as well or something.

If DWH stays put, it's only POSSIBLE lakers will add another true star one year later. In the best case scenario, they will take another year to be comfortable with each other.

And it's totally possible Lakers wouldn't be able to add another star later...after all how many true stars are there in the league and will be available in 2014?

In worst case scenario, DWH will be stuck there without another star in the next 4-5 years.

Compare that to joining Rockets now and be 100% certain to contend starting from day1 for the next 4-5 years or more...Nobrainer!

howard will come here, he and harden are good friends and they got identical personalities.

why would u wanna go to that depleted roster, kobe nagging you every minute on twitter, and taking all the blame after every loss.

This is an easy decision, even the people over at lakersground admit it.

    Right.

It's POSSIBLE that they get another star.

It depends on A LOT of factors and variables. One example is the Love example since people seem to like to point to it being him....

It depends on Kevin Love wanting to get out of Minnesota (Hey, maybe they are the surprise team next year?!) it depends on then Minnesota not trading Kevin Love so that he hits UFA...and if they do trade him it depends on if the Lakers have anything Minnesota wants.

Oh and that is still what 2 seasons away?

If you want some NBA predictions, and you often do ... Phil Jackson will be new GM of Kings and Byron Scott will be new coach of Clippers.

If Amico is right, no Phil Jackson to LA
    so DH to Houston?

Yeah he said that they had hopes in Kyrie but since the Cavs got the #1 it lowers there chances.

    Sam Amico isn't reliable.

Phil Jackson isn't going to Sacramento. Not happening.

On the daily show with Jon Stewart he (PJ) said that Jeanie doesn't want anything to do with basketball. He further stated that her strength is in finance and marketing. She brings the money in so that someone else can spend it and that she wants to keep it that way.
