CBS Sports - Favre Announces he will not return in 2011

OK, I'll just wait for the report where he announces when he's back in the summer of 2011. The Favre saga will never end.

 

Why ask why with Favre, I know. But why announce that NOW?

 

Of course he's not coming back.

Vikings suck and he got busted for texting pics of his wiener to a girl young enough to be his daughter.

He should've hung it up last year.

 

Starting earlier this yer huh? This way it will give him time to unretire before the season ends

 

Yes. He went one year too many, but $20 million makes it all worthwhile. I expected this version of Favre last season.

 

He did throw for the most yards in his career last game.

As bad as this season has gone, I never expected him to come back. I think the only reason he came back this year was because the Vikings were so close last year.

 

Here we go again. Im sure July 2011 Espn and NFL Network will have breaking news "Favre throws passes to Mississippi high schoolers" then the Vikings fly down to kiss his ass then what a coincidence Favre shows up a day after training camp ends.........

 

Maybe he'll go sign with the Bears so he can get revenge on the Packers and the Vikings.

 

I thought he had already said this was his last year.

 

Its kind of satisfying when the douches are forced out, when they don't get their final chance to string people along, make the media dance... lookn at you too Clemens.

 

Brett Farve has had more false ending than the Lord of the Rings movies......I'll believe it when the credits finally roll....

 

He says in the beginning of the season that it will be his last season in the NFL. Don't tell us you'll retire. Like the Nike Ads would say "just do it".

 

He's going to sign with Tampa Bay so he can get revenge on the team that drafted him originally. The Atlanta Falcons.

 

So, I take it nobody took his "farewell tour" at the end of the Green Bay game at Lambeau seriously (you know, since he already did that 3 years ago)? Because with any other person that is a sure sign that they are done.
