Lin, at a minimum, will average 15-16 points a game and 7 assists...Over/Under on that, boys?

I'm very optimistic. The Knicks when Woodson took over basically were primarily an ISO-Melo offense. Lin is going to play well and we will be better than a lot of people think even without Dwight or Bynum. With that said we are going to be very young, probably too young as it stands to make the playoffs.

And this was out of date before they even published it. Asik to Houston.

We need a point guard, being the first key.

The second, he can score, this is something we need as without Luis, our potential starting front courts with either Asik or Howard at center would have no scoring threats, unless White, Jones and maybe Morris step up.

Third, he is a big enough body that like Dragic, he will give smaller PGs trouble. McHale being big on defense will use this and depending on who else is on our roster, it could lead to us being able to provide match up problems.

But more importantly, he is a PG and he is nice enough brand name that if the Howard thing falls through, we have a star.

This kinda made me discredit the writer a tad, but I agree with pretty much all his other points regarding our squad.

Whats interesting is that Kevin McHale love the pick and role. And it will be pick and roll galore with this team. With Lin, Parson and even White able to handle the ball, and all the forwards in this team can do the pick and pop with ease, along with Martin or Lamb at that corner 3.

Maybe we should get Jerry Sloan in, head coach or assistant coach or whatever.
