I was surprised that they took the religious books. The other "practical" rewards did not surprise me. The microwave makes me think they've got electricity. They also never show the kids doing laundry or their showers. I bet they've got washers and dryers, and "normal" showers.
Well, really the price of the gold star should fluctuate day to day if it was truly worth its weight in gold.
I hate to talk about a 10 year old this way but she's going to grow up to be a hot, rich, spoiled beeotch...if you read her bio, her parents sound Republican...oh really?
