Harden should at least be an honorable mention on MVP if Kobe is there

Harden and Asik not mentioned on MIP?

Morey not first on executive of the year?

No, really, what's this guys deal?

Sorry we're not located in LA, NY, or the CHI.

Not so much worried about it this year. But come next year, hoping to see Harden, Asik and Lin being named together with Parsons as well. Hope to get at least 2/4 correct :)

Maybe they're disqualifying him because he was on leave from the team for a month or so earlier in the season. Granted, he had a pretty damn good reason for taking time off, but technically he didn't coach a decent chunk of games. Would you give a player MVP consideration if he was out for 15+ games?

It's just odd. Everyone else has agreed that Harden and Asik are contenders for that award. Hell, Harden is doing the same thing Kobe is doing, minus having an all-star big man and two veteran former all-stars.

    Top Contenders for MIP:
    Harden
    Asik
    Vasquez
    George
    Holiday

Morey acquired a star and singlehandedly turned the franchise around. He signed two young players, one a defensive beast who locks down the paint and changes our defensive identity, and the other a popular guard brimming with potential and leadership capabilities. He has arguably a top 10 SF on the cheapest contract in the league. He has several rookies who may become something special.

How does that not make him EOY? I know the Lakers and Knicks will get mentioned...just because

Also: I don't think Spoelstra deserves the COY. Maybe its just hard for me to really judge his talents when he has the best player in the league on his squad. I think either George Karl or Lionel Hollins should take it.
