I believe BOB will be able to get the best out of Fitzpatrick. Our defense will be much improved with the addition of Defensive Coordinator Romeo Crennel. We still have a lot of elite talent on both sides of the ball. I predict a 10-6 season with another trip to the playoffs. Watch Fitzpatrick throw for over 3000 yards with a decent QBR rating.
Pimp we will have a successful season. Fitzpatrick don't have to be like Kap or Wilson. Just put up 3000+ yards like he did in Buffalo and don't turn the ball over. Fitzpatrick might thrive in BOB system.
Did you just use "Fitzpatrick" and "don't turn the ball over" in the same statement Bwahahahaha....!!!! May can win a few games with him but he's not "the guy" a team can win big games with. He's a pick machine. Backup quarterback talent with a starters job. He couldn't even beat out Locker last year.

He has never been in a big game to make that call. Turnover machine(sure seems like it)yes, but he has beaten Brady in a shoot out as well. Fitz has never played on a team with this much talent, so time will tell.
The way he's been used plays a big part in that though. Have Kap or Wilson throw the ball that often and they are "turnover machines" as well. If BOB is foolish enough to ask Fitz to throw the ball 35 times a game he'll be a turnover machine here too, cut that down to 25 like Kap or Wilson and we'll see what happens.
I'll buy a bag of magic beans before I'll by into Fitzpatrick... I like O'Brien but I'm not expecting the dude to work miracles. And I wouldn't be surprised if Savage beats out Fitzpatrick and Case in pre-season.
There's zero chance that Savage beats out Fitz OR Keenum in camp. We won't see him till next year at the earliest.

He'd still be in a better spot than Carr was because we have competent coaching and an actual, legitimate offensive line but there's no way they'd risk ruining him by throwing him to the wolves too soon. It'll be either Fitz or Keenum this year and I expect them to be alright because they won't ask of them what they asked from Schaub.
I'm no fan of Carr but record number of sacks [yes i know he sack himself often] did not help Rocket River
There should be some concern with each QB on our roster. But just like Bobby stated Fitz will probably get the nod 1st.. If he doesn't pan out Case will get a crack at it.
Savage will probably be on the field by week 4-6 if he doesn't start the season. Fitzpatrick will play his way out of the job at some point. And I fully expect Savage to be ahead of Case on the depth chart.
But agreed on the fact that he will beat out Case. I don't think the Texans will be bad enough for a QB change that early.
