“From my understanding is, Andre might have wanted new money last year and they didn’t give it to him.”

What in the seven hell kind of sentence is that? I mean, I think I get what he is trying to say but it's worded like a politician trying to weasel his way out of possibly committing to anything...

Until Andre confirms this report, I'll reserve my right to think Travis Johnson is talking out of his ass.

Travis Johnson. Why is he even being interviewed about this?

No cred whatsoever. Is Johnson trying to become the new Josh Ennis over at 610? Who decided he makes a good radio personality?

    I feel bad for AJ.
Dude had major talent and we screwed up every year we've had him.

Where's the hate for Travis coming from? He's solid on the air and he has connections within the organization.

He was a complete bust as a player but if you hear him talk, you would think he was a hall of famer.

I can't believe they actually posted that. Andre is on a long-term contract that has been restructured to death. I don't think there is any wiggle room left in that and I think this is just 100% speculation by Travis Johnson.

Love Andre, but it's the right call. His age aside, new coaches typically want to bring in their own leaders not retain those of the previous regime.

Yeap, drafting Sammy Watkins was a "ludicrous" idea...

We already gave him a new deal. Does he get a new one every few years???

At least you are starting to realize that. Better late than never.

    WR wasn't a need.

Watkins has explosive ability much like P.Harvin, but he hasn't done anything yet.

Clowney was by far the best avaliable at 1-1. You would be reaching for Watkins at 1.

"Reaching" is just a matter of an opinion. In this case the consensus opinion. Doesn't make it right though. The Texans didn't even want to draft Clowney but they didn't want to have to make justification for going with someone else.

Sammy is who I wanted but I bet O'Brien wanted a quarterback (I would have been fine with that too). So neither one of us got what we wanted.
