Happy for Kyle, but I would not match that for a backup PG......

I wonder why Cleveland did not try to negotiate with us first.

    Dang.

Nate Robinson re-signed with the Celtics. Shannon Brown is likely to re-sign with the recent departure of Jordan Farmar. The rest are just scrubs and not worth it.

I wonder how much AB is going to get paid next year. If we matched Lowry, we'd have $13+ M tied up in our 2 point guards.

Of course you match... that's a bigger salary attached to a desirable player that can be added to a trade package between now and the deadline for Paul or Melo or Granger or somebody.

I might add that if you match this for Lowry, it also sends a message to other teams regarding Scola.

They probably are just still bitter about LeBrick's departure and are taking it out on us?

I say let him go...and go out and get jeremy Lin to be out backup point guard behind brooks (and no im not asian). I can see cleveland even showing interest in some of our other players. We should get a sign&trade going with them (cannibalising) and pry away antawn jamison.

    Brooks
    Martin
    Ariza
    Jamison
    Yao

    (sick starting lineup)

Les is the type of owner that won't mind spending the extra money. He wants to win and lowry is a key piece to our future glory. I say they will match.
But never ever do I want to hear Stern say every team is losing money. These busters are throwing money like it grows on trees.

If they were mad about LeBron, they would have just sent Delonte West to camp outside LeBron's new house in Miami.

Are you kidding me?!? We've lost our potential sixth man of the year. Now we have two holes in backup 1 and 4 which are the most essential positions of bball. Losing lowry or fail to find a true backup C, if only one happened, I would say Morey's off-season is a complete failure.

You know, if he really wants him, he should just match it.....when Landry signed, DM matched it the next day.

This is gonna make Scola very expensive though.....lots of Lux tax for Les to spend.....

Lowry has been a Great Fit with the Rox. He probably feels flattered because the team that just traded Lebonbon immediately offered a Sweet contract to Kyle. Lowry Needs to Improve his Shooting especially in 3 point range, however he is worth Every Penny

I say you match for a PG the quality of Lowry. He deserves the money, give it to him. He's probably only going to get one payday in his career so make him happy.
