Now it's time to see if Morey will live up to his word and match any offer for both Scola and Lowry. He can talk the talk, but will he walk the walk?
You know he is going to edit it. "Kyle Lowry's Cavs will win a title before self-proclaimed King," or something along those lines.
PDcavsinsider #Cavs used most of their mid-level exception in the deal, which is for three years with a team option that could be worth $24 million.
I don't know the cap space we have, but will this 6yr/24mill thing impact how we try to sign Lowry and Scola? That is, if we match the Cavs, will we have money left over for anything Scola is offered?
PDcavsinsider Rockets have indicated they plan to match an offer to Lowry. Cavs like his defensive ability.
I hate to lose Lowry, he's such a good backup to have with the potential to start. But that is a little much to match. Going to difficult to replace, cause he was a good backup PG... but also the spark off the bench. And a good defender.
What a huge decision.. i just dont know. 6 million is alot of money to pay a backup PG. There has to be a cheaper alternative... hmm. Morey.. this is a huge decision, ya better make the right one.

But not as sound as Lowry. He is a pace changer with the second unit, he allows Brooks to slide over at the two in spots and plays very tough Defense, something we are lacking bigtime at the guard spots.
