im sorry but for anyone to say they would trade parsons for any of these draft pics is dumb... it would set us back a couple of years.. this coming up year parsons will be even better!! yes please revisit this draft compared to parsons in the next couple of years
Trust me, we won't have to wait that long. I'd say give it till next season. The draft just hypes some people up a little too much.
There's little difference between pick 1 - 10. I'm not sure Otto would have even made the lotto last season.
The way I see it, we are trying to move forward now. Trading legit pieces for high draft picks sets us back a few years, which just doesnt make sense for us right now. If Noel is a prospect, I would think he's completely off Morey's radar right now. Just my 2 cents though
That's why it would be a terrible move to trade good rotational players for the #1. Noel is not going to be better than Asik so we're basically looking at a guy like Porter or the guy out of UNLV (an undersized power forward he's right up our ally). But if that's the case you don' target #1 you look for a team to pick that guy for you and then trade with them directly.

The only problem with that is the Cavs would not want Lin when they have Irving. If we somehow did a 3 way trade, then I would be okay with that. I'd probably want to draft Burke with the first pick if we had it.
If Lin was the centerpiece in a trade that netted us the 1st overall pick morey would get arrested for drugging rival gms
They're probably looking to trade within the top 5, so as to get their man (Porter) without picking him too high. Maybe they trade with Orlando and get a lotto pick with it?
Cavs trade #1 pick and Varejao to Pacers for Granger and their 1st rounder. Pacers draft McLemore and can let West go. Cavs get a young all-star next to Irving.
I don't think they would need the number 1 overall pick to draft Rice... But I would love for Morey to move into the first round and get him... Wouldn't give up Asik though unless they where for sure they where going to get Howard...
