markets dont matter for already big time players, for a guy like redd to be in new york it would help him, I don't see how lebron could get anymore famous by being in new york.

p.s does that include metro area or just the city proper? cause I know most people in cleveland live in "greater cleveland" in the suburbs.

Varejao a Rocket + Matt Bullard commentary = something interesting I'm sure.

Uh...I never said Houston wasn't in the top 10, smart guy. Don't know what I need to Google, since you aren't telling me anything I don't know.

Anyway, I don't believe Artest will sign with Cleveland. They don't have enough money to throw at him and Mike Brown is a really weak coach.

It's media markets. If it were going by metro areas, then Houston would be sixth, and not tenth (or ninth, depending on what list you look at).

It's only LA. Tons on NBA players hang out there.
    He isn't going anywhere.

    I hope

Whatever, they still won't be better than BOS or ORL.

they will be better than both of those, they will match up with boston really well. and orlando just shipped out 3 role players one of which (courtney lee) helped them a lot for vince carter, and if that's not bad enough they're not resigning turkoglu. orlando is not a contender anymore if they stand pat at this point.

you are wearing hazed goggles if you don't think they would be better.

If artest doesnt resign, it might make the hamilton/prince trade for tmac all the more likely. Get a SG, and a great defender

I'm drooling over that Tmac for Rip/Prince trade...Charlie V. and Gordon are Detroit bound.

I would be very happy for Ron to sign a big hefty contract with Cleveland. His overrated D and terrible O will not help them much.

Good luck Ron Artest, I would be the first to wish you fond farewell.

In a way, It's good that Artest gets a lot of love on the FA market from teams only having the MLE. The worst that can happen to the Rockets is a team with capspace going after Ron.

Either way it works out. If the Rockets want Ron, they can just offer a bit more than the MLE. If they don't care for him, they can just work out a S&T with any of them for some assets.

I hope LeBron is a very persuasive salesman.

This is great news if it's true. Re-signing Artest makes little sense. However, the article also said The Lakers are interested. I don't believe that for a second. After the elbowing incident and they are already the World Champs.

Would you want the MLE, and a good chance at the 'ship?

Or BIG money, but not a good chance at the 'ship?

I find it hard that the Lakers are gonna repeat.
