Haha. He started for them just last night. Now this. He must have really flipped sh it for this to happen.
Rumor is that the Cavs would rather pay him than let Miami get Bynum. Apparently some bad blood there still over the whole Lebron deal. Go figure...
If the Cavs release Bynum and trade picks for Asik the Rockets are under the cap. Les would see an additional $11M profit this season. PERFECT!
if he hates basketball, why did he spend so much time with kareem working on his game? did he love it then hated it? i guess playing next to kobe can make you lose dat passion.
@clutchfans - twitter account "The Cleveland-Andrew Bynum situation looks like a very good opportunity for an Omer Asik trade." "CLE has all 3 - interesting contracts, young players, picks. +possibilities. What they didn't have (until now) is need for a C."
Yeah only thing is pat Riley will get him to go to Miami or he will go the clippers he's already said a according to Simmons that we're he wants to play, probably wants to be on a contender and live in MIA or LA which I don't blame him for that
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/sources--cavaliers-to-likely-part-ways-with-andrew-bynum-174107398.html The Cleveland Cavaliers are determined to unload Andrew Bynum in a trade after their partnership with the former All-Star center has rapidly deteriorated, league sources told Yahoo Sports. Bynum has almost assuredly played his final game for the Cavaliers, a source with direct knowledge of the franchise's plans told Yahoo Sports after the team announced Saturday it has suspended Bynum indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team. "He doesn't want to play basketball anymore," a league source told Yahoo Sports. The Cavaliers believe Bynum has been a "disruptive" presence within the team and have lost hope the partnership can be salvaged, sources said. Bynum often expressed a lack of desire to play and practice and was convinced by the Cavaliers not to quit previously, sources said. Other teams that met with Bynum during his free agency last offseason were concerned about his desire to play and commitment to continue the rehab needed for him to play in the NBA after repeated knee problems, sources said. Bynum, 26, signed a two-year deal worth $24.8 million with the Cavs prior to the season. Only $6 million of the $12.2 million Bynum is due this season is guaranteed if he is waived before Jan. 7. He could be attractive to teams looking to shed some salary because they could acquire him for a player with a similar contract and save $6 million by waiving Bynum. Bynum also could try to negotiate a buyout with the Cavaliers and seek to sign a contract for the veteran's minimum with a contending team if he clears waivers. Bynum did not travel with the team to Boston for Saturday's game against the Boston Celtics. The Cavaliers said he has been excused from all team activities indefinitely. Bynum has averaged 8.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 19.5 minutes in 24 games with the Cavaliers. He had four points and one rebound in 17 minutes in a 127-125 double overtime loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday.
Don't want. He'd for sure embarrass our organization. http://youtu.be/FQO-0pfo2IY Idk, maybe with the right atmosphere, he'd be in better shape.
Unbelievable.... This idiot is about to squander $18 million dollars because he can't show up and play basketball for two years.
Let me Catch you up 1.according to WOJ, Cavs are looking to trade him before jan.7th to get something in return vs letting him walk, $6 of his $12mill left on this years contract is guaranteed if they keep him after that date. 2.heat & clippers are his 1&2 options for vet min. According to sources if he's waived by jan.7th, Houston may be his 3rd. 3. Sources say cavs GM may keep him on roster this year if they don't find a trade just so he can't leave & play for the heat this year. Would be another player heat get from cavs to help them get a ring.
First Lopez's injury, then Horford, and now Bynum's suspension? Man..I'm ecstatic that an Asik deal wasn't compromised too quickly. We have soo much leverage going forward! DM is my hero.
They paid a potential $24m. He owes them two years. Typical modern day NBA loser who only cares about himself.
It was non-guaranteed. The Cavs were taking a gamble and they knew it. If Bynum was a bust physically the Cavs would have been just as quick to waive him. At this point Bynum doesn't owe them anything past the games he's already played.
