Actually I think the chances of LBJ staying increased because of this firing. Defense is indeed important. however when that's the only thing you know it becomes a liability. For all the flak that JVG gets here for being offensively challenged, at least he knows hot to design and get his players to execute his sets. Mike Brown oth is just not head coach material. He can't even call his own plays!
Coach k would not quit for Kobe i dont see him going it for lebron. Especially after he just one another title
Ain't no way in the world. This is almost as ridiculous as the Calipari to the Bulls rumors. If LeBron and his advisors are stupid enough to demand either Coach K or Calipari wherever he goes, he deserves to suffer several years as a loser. For the record, I'm a big LeBron fan.
I'll credit Brown for his defensive mentality. This was very important to develop early in Lebron's career and for the identity of the team going forward. It was a huge part in the Cavs' early success. But the offense never took advantage of the personnel and in the past 2 years the defensive effort decreased. It felt like the team hit a plateau. I have no idea who or how we will fill this vacancy. Particularly when LBJ is still undecided. It's a very difficult task. There's a recent quote that Lenny Wilkens might consider coaching again. I wonder what the odds are of getting Tom Thibodeau.
it's gonna be Phil Jackson after the Lakers don't win the title this year. any last words? <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/WPb2nZPxffU&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xd0d0d0&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/WPb2nZPxffU&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xd0d0d0&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
I actually thinks it increased (probably not by that much) the chances of Lebron staying in Cleveland also. If Lebron really liked playing for Mike Brown and wanted him around, management would not have fired him.
I thought he was a below average coach. The guy is just so limited with his offensive sets. Then, there is the fact that his players never really seemed to respect him and the whole thing about him sucking hard at making in game adjustments.
Lebron did it. Shaq, RETIRE already go be a Cop, stop slowing down NBA teams. They shouldve traded for Amare.
He didn't deliver like he was hyped to, I didn't think he wouldve of anyways. I think ProffesorJay has forgotten this Is RED NATION.
