You better get something booked in Austin!
Looks good, BDW. I was intrigued by the concept a couple years back and still am.

As far as the technical aspect for future promo videos - I'd absolutely love to help shoot something for yall. We use a canon 7D and a HMC-150. Just shoot me a msg when you know when yall are going to be back in Texas and I'm there.

    I have always been curious..
I imagine with you doing this portion of the show every night in every city.. I imagine yall must have to sift through countless cards with the same questions. Or perhaps, keep getting the same of a really good question in every city. Do yall sort of have a routine set on who says what when/if you guys get that question night in and night out?

    Keep it up

As a 48 year old white dude, I thought that was funny as hell.

When you coming to Billings, MT?

As I recall, my question at the end of one of these SELLOUT shows in Houston was "Why are all four of you wearing black shirts?" Then you called me out. Something like, "shut up, Kevin."

LOL! You don't have a RED EPIC?

man, you don't need to say what you use, you showoff... srsly, if you're good with videos, you could be using a T1i and still get a good movie. :)

That's like asking Wade Phillips what blitzes they're going to use against a certain team. He's not going to give you his secret sauce, man.

Please, I'd be an ass if I took what you said as anything less than constructive. Believe me I'm surprised that it came out that good. I'm not as good on Sony Vegas as I need to be to take myself seriously as an editor and the footage was shot on a 300.00 camera. I should have created it with a higher quality setting but I'm only uploading to YouTube, and this video won't even matter after February 13.

Swoly, I have no idea how to do what you suggested but I likely wouldn't have anyways because adding another image to the frame would have distracted from the joke. But it's a good look.

Thanks but I would have been happy with a solid 80%. :) The sports radio thing is a real confidence crusher unless I'm only there to promote a show. The scenario is a virtual no win. The only way you're gonna come off funny is to make guys laugh whose sense of humor is abstract to that of their listening audience. Add to that, fans of sports radio in a city with mediocre teams tend to be a bit cynical.

Thx Dub, I'll keep that in mind. We always get the "anatomy" question and we take turns addressing it, but for the most part the questions are always different and we decide who does what based on our individual strengths in a particular area.

Some guy named Michael Monseur wants me to do a show there in San Marcos, if we can make it work I'll keep you posted. Austin is always a last minute thing.

Yeah, you were off the chain that night. Good times...

I did Bozeman last year - had enough. ;)

Cool idea. We should have a thread to ask our own black guy questions. For example, why do black guys frequently refer to women as females. I don't think I've referred to some chick as a female. It's just odd.

seems funny. I would absolutely go check a show out based on the concept/promo. Though I will say I was expecting another joke or 2 when I saw it was 2 minutes long.

I worry that there is some potential to get boring during the course of a show when you're at the whim of audience-submitted questions. Not to say you're not good enough to pull out of something like that, but sometimes it might be hard to realize it while you're performing (and therefore realize you need to change it up)? I'm coming from a completely uneducated pov here, but it's just a thought. I figure it's different from improv shows in that they have a formula that's dictated by audience submissions..whereas this is completely audience driven and therefore has a lot more variability
