Crazy stuff man. All the people saying that a gun would have ended it, it is usually illegal to bring firearms to school and government events, buildings etc. and that may be the reason nobody had one. That or they just don't have one period.

That's a profound soliloquy, but what does it have to do with this case?

Some random school board may or may not have fired someone for any number of reasons, and that qualifies as "the wealthy and their government cronies conspiring to further exploit the rest of the country?"

    Oooookay...

Obviously the guy is beyond reason and not thinking coherently, but seems to be lashing out at "authority" more than anything.

I think that was the case. He fires sort of at the people at first but then shoots down at the ground. I can't tell from the angle if he was aiming deliberately at anyone on the school board when he first fired but I suspect he might not have and was just looking to ensure that the police would come and shoot him.

Its a disturbing video but some very important things to take from it. I applaud Ginger Littleton who tried to disarm him but it was as others have noted it was a stupid move on her part. That she didn't get hurt reinforces my impression that the only person Clay Duke was out to hurt was himself. In terms though of the decision to try to disarm an attacker in general that is a bad idea as this incident shows, but not always and her timing was good. Obviously she failed to account for differences in size and complete lack of technique although with proper training most people physically able can be trained to to take out a much larger person from behind when they are unaware. One problem in regard to women is getting the nerve of actually hurting someone in that situation. Littleton obviously had plenty of nerve but no technique.

Superintendent Husfelt and the other school board members behaved admirably and heroically. They remained very calm and never panicked and tried to get Duke to think rationally. Almost all of self-defense is mental and they showed why. In my opinion this is a great example of how to behave in a life threatening situation and something we should keep in mind if we ever find ourselves dealing with something like this.

That is something the shooter obviously identified as the justification for his own actions.

It's a shame he picked the wrong targets.

Hardly anyone is advocating the approach that I'm in favor of. These are hardly talking points - they're observations on reality.

The wealthy have been waging war on me and people like me for our entire lives.

I'm in favor of fighting back since the government cares little about redressing these grievous wrongs.

So u equate crazed lunatic gunmen with conservative values? So what u r saying is that the majority of Americans condone this kind of behavior?
