You are hearing ME complain about it Einstien !!!!!!!!!!! It effects 3/4ths of my family, and whenever we want to use the furniture and sit on the porch, it can cause major problems with them. THE CAT HAIR GETS ON THE CUSHIONS.....and it causes problems. Just because you have allergies, does not mean you have the same allergies as my kids and my wife. Are you just stupid, or dense? You seem to be having a major problem understanding similar scenarios and making massive leaps of logic based upon a very small sample size. IE - my neighbors love my cats, therefore everyone's neighbors love cats. IE - my allergies don't bother me, therefore no one's allergies bother them. Simplistic is too many syllables for this thinking..... DD
Again, another idiotic nonsensical post. We are talking about cats roaming the neighborhood, and people and their lack of responsibilty in keeping them contained to their own yards. And you leap to the ole " other animals in the world comment " BRILLIANT !!! [sarcasm]Wax on oh brilliant one...wax off.......[/sarcasm] DD PSST...the [sarcasm] in brackets thingy means I was being sarcastic...... PS. I am going to go step on a bunch of ants in the name of Buddhists everywhere, well done Meowgi !
Actually people are allergic to the dander, not the hair. I'm sure the neighbors would get the message though About 5-6 years ago I had a "friend" that owned a rabbit in a cage in their backyard. The neighbors cat would constantly go into the backyard and terrorize the rabbit and jump and hang on the window screens of the windows on the back of their house. This person had discussed the situation with the neighbor numerous times with little success. One night this person emptied all of the water out of a can of tuna and filled it up with Prestone. The next morning the tuna was gone. The cat never over heated again and the rabbit and family lived happily ever after. The End.
I have a rabbit in my backyard. She has a 15x15 pen and can roam around it the go back into her hutch when she feels like it. We adopted her from people who just kept her in a cage and never let her out and never showed her any attention. Our cats and her are friends. Meowgi will go up to her and they will touch noses and the cat will playfully swat at her etc. It's very cool.
So, you keep a rabbit in a pen but let your cat's roam free? If your cat's get poisoned, run over, or killed in a fight, it is only one person's fault....yours. DD
If we respect animals and nature why would we introduce an unnatural (cat) predator into the environment. I love the baby rabbits and birds around our house and hate finding ones that were killed by a cat. Last spring I found a little baby rabbit left on our porch with a bite wound in it's leg. I love seeing all the blue birds, cardinals, blue jays around our house but the neighborhood cats love killing them. I stand by my statement that letting cats roam a neighborhood is irresponsible.
And if your kid is walking down the street and I bash them with a baseball bat, it's only your fault.
Wow - more lunacy from Captain planet pluto. Tell you what, let's print out these posts, and show them to our neighbors, and see what they think. See how many people want to live by the ole peacefule Meowgi then. And, for the record, my kids don't roam around free like your cats..... So, tally it up, in your moronic cats are equal to kids way. Me - Mr. Responsible - Kids are respectful and don't go into neighbors yards and roam around freely. You Mr. Don't care about the neighbors - Cats run around free to abuse the neighborhood. DD
A kid walking to school, riding their bike to the park, whatever. They should be killed. Violence is fun.
Wow Mr. Meowgi. It would be a lot easier if you just said: "DD, you're making some very good points, and I don't have a comeback for them"
This is untrue. I'm not trying to get into the one-on-one debate but I've seen plenty of kids do this.
You are just being silly. It is not even close...people that lose a cat get upset, but their grief is not near as bad as losing a person. Maybe a poll asking which is more important, a cat or a kid...will sort you out. You are now advocating violence? Wow - what a class act....NOT DD
Would it be illegal to leave tainted candy for Trick- or Treating kids? I mean if a stray kid just happened to eat it and die, could I be held responsible?
Actually that is very illegal, and has been proven to be so. See, I answered your question. So, are you saying it would be illegal to put poison out in the backyard on a can of tuna? I think it might be, but that is why I asked. DD
