If I recall Starks was a steak shooter and the one chance he had to win the series Hakeem thankfully blocked hit. Guys like him and Maxwell miss shots, sometimes many in a row, but I never remember either remotely choking like Christie. They might have missed, but not by that much and not because they were scared to take it.

Granted I am making some assumptions, but yeah, I would sure bet most people would live or die in that situation with a Mobley jumper than a Bowen, Christie, Kittles shy heave. Another assumption is I believe Mobley would be fine in the Sac offense--mainly spotting up for 3s and cutting. Assumptions yes, but until, Mobley shot taking takes away better shots by good players--I don't question his ability to function in a well oriented balanced offense.

    That is a BIG assumption.
Until he proves that his hands don't magically super-glue themselves to the ball everytime he touches it...........it's hard to put him on an squad like the Kings.

Just my opinion, but Mobley is a great 6th man.....not a starting 2 guard.

Good point OverR - The Kings play that new fangled ofensive scheme called passing, don't they. The jury is still out on rather or not Catino can learn that.

Are you forgetting Starks going 2 for 18 in game #7? That included missing all 11 3pt attempts. Those were some major bricks that Starks threw up there that game, they weren't even close.

Sure it is a big assumption. But in my mind no bigger one than that Mobley or Francis won't gladly pass the rock to a open teammate when that open teammates happens to be good efficient player. What I have been saying all along is until our front line isn't dead last in the league on both sides of the ball the jury is out as far as Mobley (as well as Francis) being team oriented players, and that those trying to say our winning problem is due to their selfishness are jumping the gun.

Aelliot, I have to admit my memory of Hou-NY game 7 is fuzzy. But that fact Starks shot 18 times makes me think he never shyed away from the open looks the Kings perimeter shooters did shy away from. Confident shooters think they can make the next one (like Starks, even if he was off that day), the Kings perimeter chokers didn't even want to take the next one--and that made their team so much easier to contain defensively.
