As soon as you provide a scan of the check you're getting for being a Mobley spokesman.

You continue to refuse to acknowledge that I characterized a shot as the one that Dennis Johnson and Larry Bird used to gain separation. You continue to refuse to understand that that is a normal basketball comment, to say what types of shots people like and choose to make their goto. Saying a player is using the same shot as Dennis Johnson does not mean Dennis is better at it than Mobley. It provides a context for describing a shot via anecdote. I did mention Dennis Johnson. For the very same reason, saying a player is using the same shot for his goto as Larry Bird does not mean Mobley is better at it. People talk about basketball that way. If you knew how to talk about basketball rather than silly stat theories about Assist per Shot and blinded stat logic, you would know how scouts characterize shots exactly like I did. Scouts do not assume you meant that Cat can shoot like Larry, because they know no one is comparable in shooting except Reggie.

Frankly I don't care how you want to characterize Mobley's shot. Characterize it all you want. If you want to say he has a Bird step back, a Dale Ellis 3, and a Jordan drive then go ahead and I'll still be over here thinking it's stupid and that will just be my opinion on the matter. Decry it all you want.

It's like your insistence that I was saying Cat shoots as well as Larry Bird proves you know nothing about basketball, and you want to just distort word.

Is this where your inability to costruct an argument forces you to try to insult me and get personal. Do you really want to go there?

Besides, it is unstoppable in this run.

Now it's just unstoppable in this run? Are you retreating from your unstoppability comment?

Unstoppable means the defense cannot prevent the player from shooting it despite desiging various defense to do just that, and the player is hitting it at a good clip.

And what evidence do you have that various defenses have been designed to precisely stop Cat from shooting a step back shot? Please present that evidence, thanks.

First, he has not used this shot his whole career, and, secondly, you have to remove all the other shots from your calculation; you dork.

Oh name calling is so fun. Hey why don't you remove all those other shots from your calculations and give me some numbers. Those stats aren't exactly on any non-dorkish basketball sites so get back to me buddy.

And in this run, the best we can do is show that Cat is shooting 50% on 2s. That is a good clip in the run we we're referring to.

Is this the evidence of his workaholic offseason or is this your midseason adjustment argument?

But, go ahead, just distort everyone's words again.

I'll stick to the facts but you keep on with the midseason this and that from this year and that year that doesn't seem to have any influence from any one season to another.

Because Mobley haters who cannot acknowledge this run as improvement need to distort reality, and say it is due to rules changes and Francis's migraines.

Or maybe Mobley bandwagoners want to believe he's just that good that they can't accept that he might just be hot. These same Mobley bandwagoners don't seem to want to wait till next year to see if this 47% shooting continues. You want to close up shop after 28 games to declare Mobley an all-star and MVP, but sorry buddy it doesn't work that way.

go ahead timing, say lifetimes stats proves Mobley hasn't improved again. Look around, I think you are the only one.

Lifetime stats say he's a 43% shooter and this season's stats say he's a 44% shooter. You can get upset, call me names, stammer about with hater allegations but you can't distort that. If you want to give me more spliced seasons as proof of all of these improvements then go ahead. When he puts it together for a full season maybe then you'll have a legitimate argument as to Cat's improvement.

In addition, I resent this implication that I don't want Cat to do well or I don't want to give him his props. I've been a fan since I moved here 20 years ago so I'm all about the Rockets being successful. I simply require more evidence than 28 games from Mobley to consider that he's become an all-star caliber player. If he puts up these numbers for a full season then you will have all been correct and if not then I won't tease yall too bad. ;)
