Its Jayson Williams...former NJ Net, led the league in rebounding, thinks he's very funny. Broke his leg and suffered horrible atrophy in his leg...."

Jayson Williams never led the NBA in rebounding (assuming that you're refering to the NBA).

Jayson Williams may be funny, but he is not a "character guy". He was a borderline alcoholic by his own admission, and is only considering a comeback because he spent all his money.

Read his book "Loose Balls", and tell me what you think.

Actually, I only read half his book. It was too painful to finish. If there ever was a book aimed at people with IQs of 50, "Loose Balls" is it.

And I assume by "we" you are referring to the Houston Rockets....

Did you mean the Trailblazers when you said we a couple of years ago?

Dude, what is your problem? And go finish the book, since its about him getting over all that.

He is a character guy, he goes to children's hospitals, checks up on them all the time, even after they become healthy, he gives money back to the community, and is just overall, a good person.

So he had problems with alcoholism, he's over that now, how does that make him a bad person?

If you knew a preacher that had just freed himself of problems with alcohol, would you not consider him a class act?

First you take a shot at Charles, for defending himself(The man threw a glass of ice at he and his friends, after verbally-abusing him), and you say his number should not be retired. Now you take a shot at J. Williams for alcohol problems ten years ago.

Lets hope, for the sake of this board, that you can broaden your horizons, accept things of the past, and not hold grudges.

BTW, I actually finished the book, and enjoyed it, reccomended it to a couple coaches, teachers, and other adults of authority, who also enjoyed it. I can guarantee you that none of the people I am speaking of have I.Q.'s of 50 or below.

"Loose Balls" is not just a fun book, but a book about a good person, that went through hell at an early age, and is taking hell from people like you now.

If you're still going to get on people for past mistakes then you are going to have to pound on 95% of the league. He is a character guy, he has overcome his depression and alcoholism, and he isn't considering a comeback because he blew all his money. How could he blow all his money if he is still getting paid millions of dollars by the insurance company!?
