Cato deserves now to play more... he came into camp lighter, better shape... at least he deserves to get as much PT as Eggie.

Nicely said. For once I am in agreement with you. Nobody seems to realize that Sacramento was playing two centers at the same time. And at that, because of Cato's lack of offense, Miller frequently left Cato to double down on Yao. This combination will not work well in the west. As there are many dominate power forwards. Does everyone forget that it didn't work all that well last year.

The point is despite ALL of Cato's deficiencies, he still brings more to the table than Eddie. Thus, when people bash Cato for his set backs, think about our current PF.

there was nothing to forget because rudy very rarely played them together. not even against robinson/duncan. i clamored for this experiment time and time again, yet maybe saw it 2 or 3 times (in 90 to 120 second time periods) in the entire season.

I never thought Eddie is an ideal PF in the west. And plus he can't shoot. When you think of PF...you think of the size of Duncan, Webber, Garnett...and you look at Eddie Griffin, man he's no PF...he's more like SF. So i think it's better to use Cato for the PF since he has the size and can block like Eddie to complement Yao. Also, Taylor is a little undersize to be PF, just not big enough man.

Mine line up will be like this:

    C Ming
    PF Cato
    SF Jim Jackson
    SG Mobley
    PG Francis

    2nd team

C Amiechi (can't spell his name)
    PF Taylor
    SF Eddie Griffin (A. Griffin)
    SG E. Pikowski
PG Francis (play most of the minutes even after 1st quarter)

I heard trade rumor back several months ago about Eddie Griffin and someone else for Rasheed Wallace. Why didn't the Rockets pull this trade? That would be awesome to have Ming and Wallace.
