I am new to the bbs, but I have been reading a long time. I thought it was just me, but rudy is definitely not playing cato for a reason. he was in for 7 mins, and got mor rebounds then yao ming. he looks to be in shape. maybe there is something to this trade thing.
Thats the only explanation I can come up with also..He was actually playing good earlier this season. He hasnt looked incapacitated with grief when I saw him at the Cavs game...why isnt he playing Rudy???? I mean, comeon..We need some big bodies in there..EG just isnt cuttin it at the 5...If Mo is in at the 5, that means small ball...we dont need no steeenkin small ball... If you arent gettin a big guy in return, dont trade him..but for Christ's sake...play the man!!
No, I got it guys. They aren't playing him so they can give Kenny more minutes to showcase him for a trade for a 5th guard. Who cares about fielding the best team. Kenny needs to go, so let's get his stock up at the expense of playing Cato.
On second thought, maybe it is because Cato (a defensive specialist) has only run man-to-man in his games so far, and we have installed new zones in Cato's original absense, and are running them almost exclusively now, and we've had no practices to get Cato up to speed being that we are in the midst of 7 games in 10 days (including Thanksgiving as one of the off days). hmmmm... nahhh!! he must be standing on the trading block while inside the doghouse, so we can showcase Kenny Thomas jumping ontop of doghouse.
If we sent him to New York, they would have to send us a player in return because the exception is only around $4.5 million. Who would they send in return to balance out Cato's salary? Travis Knight?

Cato chewed his way out of the doghouse tonight. He is becoming "Clifferd the Big Red Dog" Cato's to big to be back in the doghouse. I don't know what has gotten into him but, heypartner for someone who said that he doesn't want to start he is playing pretty good ball these first 14 games besides the ones he has missed. Stedd, your right about that. But his attitude really seems much improved this year. I saw during the third or fourth quarter where he huddled the team up. That is NOT the Cato we used to know.

Kenny Thomas has to go..This team has too many good players. Getting rid of KT will help change that.
