I also don't want to be gullible.

But if you believe Clutch and Doc's (and ahem, I guess TB's) spin on Francis' opinion on Francis' attitude... you almost wonder if Steve is still wary of Ming, and therefore speaking up Cato. That's of course different than Steve caring about Cato's feelings or anything. In that situation Francis would just still be privately pissed about having drafted Ming, and therefore siding himself early with the alternative.

Not that any of this matters. Provided Cato and Francis are professional only good things can happen. If Cato is actually angry enough to not let every clipped fingernail keep him on the IR for 12 games then either way we have a better team. Light the fire within, you sensitive b*stard. We all know you can accidentally grab 13 rebounds and get 4 blocks every game just based on athletic ability. It's the sulky version of Kelvin that noone likes.

Cato appeared larger in size but Griffin seemed taller....
Now as far as anyone believeing me I frankly could care less.
I know what I heard and just thought you people would like to know.
It all makes sense now, the day Ming was drafted the players were somewhat told to watch what they say to the media or else.

And rock you made a valid point but is not Francis best buds with Cato as well? And this troybarros guy was he not posting here?
big T? could that mean troybarros? Little E could that not mean Eddie?

Sorry if I have 5 post,Truth be known I heard about this site at work from some arab decent gentleman.

I find it very sad people have to make a post saying it is Bs just for their own physical wellbeing.
If you think it is Bs then do not post just read it.
Creditbility? is this the Cia? or Fbi headquarters?

Not doubting that this conversation could have happened, but doesn't it seem more like something that would be said on the ride over to the club rather than in the club?

Well hopefully they do visit Clutch BBS, and Cato knows he's ****. Yao will start or Rudy will be ripped by everyone (that is unless Cato puts up all star numbers). I don't understand how you cannot start the # 1 pick in the Draft.

The story makes perfect sense and I see no reason for NBAGuru to get any benefit out of making it up.

What more do you expect from a Cato who was a grocery bagger before his late growth spurt, or one that was suspected of a drive-by killing?

We have to be realistic about the players we have, and Griffin's comments are perfectly understandable considering he's trying to fit in with the other Rockets players.

P.S. I don't think Francis was fooling any Rockets fans with his Cato being the man comments.

No pictures = Did not happen

You guys should know that by now.

funny because neither Mobley or Francis had bodyguards with them when I was at Ling & Javier.

I guess Cato needs one because everyone hates his sorry over paid a$$.

As far as grocery baggers being NBA prospects just because they're tall and have no skill? Yes.

well for what it's worth I think it's great that people post about seeing players and sharing what info they have. I'm a little skeptical, but that shouldn't stop anyone from posting what they know or feeling unwelcome. Any and all Rockets fans are always welcome.

I would not be shocked to know that Rocket players read this site. You know that Dan Langhi knows the site, remember him holding the sign at summer leagues?

Big question, what about Ming? Can he read english? You know that he lives in a dorm and plays video games, and surfs on the internet. Google is the biggest search engine on the internet, and I just did a seach for Houston Rockets fan, and cc.net appears. Even just searching Houston Rockets will bring up cc.net, around the 2nd page of results.

    I believe this guys story.

I have said before, I am more worried about Cato leveling Ming in practice - then the rest of the NBA players lining up to knock Ming down.

Should the Wiz start Kwame? When it comes to #1 picks, there is the scale. Immediate impact, Shaq, future prospect, Kwame. Ming is leaning towards the Kwame side. How do you expect a guy to start if he's gonna miss all of training camp and only be here 2 weeks before the season starts?

Kwame was a high-schooler when drafted and under the legal drinking age. Ming is 22-years old and has played professional ball (knock the Chinese leagues all you want, but the bottomline is he has a lot more experience than Kwame).

I agree though that Ming will start off on the bench, but by the 2nd half of the reason, he should be a starter.

Doesn't suprise me that Cato has not even bothered to watch the tape.

If they do read the site, then they know that they have loyal fans who know more about basketball, then most of the current Rocket team.

Time to get seats close enough to the Rockets bench so I can heckle Cato.

The reason I find this story hard to believe is because I dont think players would go to a club and discuss their NBA lives. They are going to the club to drink and get women. Cato has known for the last 3 weeks that we are taking Ming. Why would he be so upset about it on Friday night at Spy Club? Im not going to judge Cato off of this story.

One other thing. Why would they discuss the tape? They have had the tape for a while now. Im sure they have all discussed it during practice. Eddie wouldnt all of a sudden bring it up at a club.
