He was talking about the last game. Damp and Diop did a decent job defending Pau last time but I remember that they had like 3-4 fouls each making it difficult than it actually is. Now that they had that thing taken care of the other day, they just focused on defending Pau than worrying about fouls and we saw the results.

Dirk is always good at producing in the regular season. Come the big games and postseason he'll do his usual disappearing act.

That's easy to do when you're sending 3 guys at Gasol and nobody could care less about Dampier. Congratulations, Dampier finally had one good game. Give that man a max contract RIGHT NOW.

just wanted to add that dirk's post season numbers are at 25 pts, 11 boards, 1.4 steals, 1.2 blocks through 53 playoff games.

i'd hardly call that unclutch. dirk had one bad playoff series last year. let's not get him confused with tbac who can't even get out of the first round.

Oh, so unclutch players can't have good statistics?

    Karl Malone playoff stats
25 pts, 11 boards and 3 dimes over 193 games

    Is he clutch?

T-Mac has never been past the first round, but before he got to Houston (heck, even last year), when has he played on a team as talented as Dirk? Last yr was Dirk's first playoff series as "the man", and he failed miserbly.

    he failed miserably?

i think most people would consider falling down 2-0 in the first round and losing 4 out of the next 5 to lose a playoff series to be far worse than anything dirk did.

not only that, the rockets get blasted by 40+ in a deciding game 7. i'd consider that a heimlich sized choke job.

Yes, he failed miserably. The Mavericks beat us because players like J.Terry and Howard were carrying them, not Dirk. Dirk didn't show up. T-Mac lost to a better tema.

The Rockets did get blasted in game 7, but T-Mac had 27 in 3 quarters. No other Rocket outside of Yao hit double digits. Did you even watch that playoff series? Obviously not....
