I don't know if some of ya'll are comic geniuses and would respond to this trade idea with some serious consideration like this or if you are really that far removed from reality. You see the point isn't that we wouldn't want to lose those fat terrible contracts, its that we know Washington would never make such a trade. Trade proposals should only be posted for two reasons, either someone got some inside info from a credible source, or the trade is extremely plausible. When Donnymost mentioned the Mobes/Lakers trade, he was trying to make the point that the trade proposal was ludicrous and washington would never part with the core of their team for all of our trash and Mobley. Then that was remarkably responded to by someone saying that Yao wouldn't be able to get the ball on offense. Incredible.

As Elliott said to one of his brother's pals in E.T. about just "beaming" out to safety -- "this is reality, Greg."

    this thread is still going???

seriously though, as LeGrouper and Thumbs said, unless you've got some inside info this is trade is actually got some validity to it don't waste space in posting it. Go to the ESPN boards and post that crap there.

Kevin Garnett will want to leave Minnesota after they lose against LA once again, plus with payton, malone, oneal, kobe, its not gonna be any easier. I see him coming to a team that has the upside to out run these old players in oneal,malone,payton.. he would look for the team with the most potential, which has to be Houston for the 04-05 season. WHY DO I SMOKE CRACK???? its true we will be the most promising team. He should sign with us for the 04-05 season.

All right Kick Azz.... I am beginning to believe that your heart is in the right place and we can work through this with you. Like I said in my other post. Change your name to one that wouldn't be asterixed out in a post and come back with an open mind but one closed to the idea of Garnett being on the Rockets. Then we can be cool and all.

ok, kickazz, time for a lesson in the salary cap.

A team will have no more than 2 max contract players on their team. In 3 years, Yao Ming will command Max money. Steve Francis already is making max money. That means 2 players will be taking up 50% of the rockets cap. No way in hell Garnett comes to houston.

Worst offer I have ever seen!, well in the past month at least.
No seriously that offer is Terrible, just Terrible.

Stackhouse??? We already have enough ball hogs with no D. IMO, Hes the last thing this team needs. Ya sure, he can put up points, but does he help anyone else score? Nope, look at Detroit.
Sure, lets get Kwame to go with Griff, so we can have the best 1-2 punch of underachieving PF's.
Not only that, but Washington would never ever even think twice about even considering that trade.
    :D :D :D
