Now, can we please stop worrying about other people's grammar and spelling? You make yourself look silly, Tozai.
I could care less about grammar or spelling. The only reason I pointed it out is because you say you were old enough to have watched Moses Malone and yet you type like a little kid. I wrote a LIST of things you did. They were not supposed to be proper sentences. They were phrases, fragments, etc. I wasn't checking my grammar or spelling. This is a freaking message board. I could point out that you do misspell words such as "seperate" and "grammer" and use "your" instead of "you are," even in your last post, but it is irrelevant. I ask you to rip the content, and all you do is focus on grammar. Okay we both called each other names. If you want to point fingers then go ahead. I just want you to respond to what I wrote, not how I wrote it. You have yet to do that. By the way, how old are you? I am 18 not 14. Now if you want to think I am immature that's okay, because even if you are in the late twenties, your posts are pretty immature for your age. On May 30th, you say, "GOD. Not only do we have the most immature, selfish ball players on the court, we have them off the court too." You ignored everything I wrote in response to your previous post. All that you did was rip my grammar on the LIST of five things you have been doing to "prove" your point. I dare you to try to disprove THAT (information before list), instead of trying to change the subject and use distraction as your only tactic. Go ahead, focus on my grammar, on name calling, on how you're maybe ten years older than me, or whatever else. Everyone one of your posts has not answered any of the things I stated. You assume things and then tell me that I am doing the same. By the way, Are you still a Rockets fan? Can you not deal with the "new generation"? Do you hate Cuttino and Steve...who else? Are you sad the era of Rudy, Ralph, Calvin, and Akeem is over. Do you wish the NBA was like the good ol days of Bird v Magic, etc? If so then stick to watching ESPN Classic and stop moaning. To SuperKev: "Poor shooter. Can't hit a free throw. This year a 19% 3pt shooter. 3.3 turnovers a game. This does not even get into his injury problems and off the court problems. " A 70% FT percentage isn't great, but I wouldn't exatly say it's horrible. If you want to talk about 3PT percentages then look at his percentages for the other two years. He played 29 games this season. His 3pt percentage isn't stellar the other years (30%), but you can't analyze a player's stats who hardly played this season. 3 turnovers a game isn't very good, but he would be averaging near 6 assists a game. His off the court problems are irrelevant to his skills. They would need to be checked out without a doubt, but don't use that to prove he sucks. Injury problems would be investigated by team doctors. It's not for you to say whether he is injury prone or not. The bottom line is either him or Rashard would help us out. Lamar is a more versatile player with greater upside IMO. Rashard is NOT a max player, but believes he is. Lamar isn't a MAX player either, but I don't hear any claims he is. I have heard Rashard expect so. Lamar is 6'10, but can run 1,2,and 3. He doesn't ask for alot of shots(14 pg) and 46% in his last full season is pretty good. He is one of the most consistent triple double threats and can rebound and assist quite well.
right1--- You're right, I shouldn't be pointing out grammar or spelling mistakes. I really care less, it was just to prove a point. I shouldn't have called him a b****, I shouldn't have pointed out spelling errors, I shouldn't have used curse words, and you shouldn't be involved in this. By the way, Yao will not make an instant impact. An 82 game season is a lot longer than the 24 game season he played in. The competition is quicker and tougher. The speed and physical play will catch up to him as all rookies experience. I do not deny his skill or potential. That previous statement was in response to all the people overreacting to the Ming hype, saying he'll by a Shaq-stopper, or lead us to the promised land, etc... Speculate all you want Nothing is certain until the season starts with regards to trades and draft picks.
If you don't want people to comment on what you post, then don't post. If you don't want people to be involved, then exchange e-mails. A message board is about involvement of more than two people by default. The same is true for the college season and the European leagues, and yet European rookies (Gasol) and US college players come into the NBA and make an impact every year. However, I agree with you that expecting Ming to stop Shaq or put up 20/10 is very, very optimistic (I should say unrealistic). Now there is something we can agree on.
Thankyou for clarifying, Tozai. You've gained respect. Up until the part where you told me I shouldn't be involved in this. Now, that's really silly.
