Another interesting factor could be that since Cat is left handed, he would probably be more comfortable shooting on the right side of the racks (instead of reaching across his body if he was on the left side). So when he goes rack to rack he would have to run on the other side which would take a bit longer. But in the end its probably not a big deal.
i got a gut feeling one of the underdogs will come through with the win. billups, shard, or cat. just a gut feeling about this.
Meow, do you know how many three pointers that Cat can make? Does Cat look like a little kitten meow?! All "nimbly-bimbly" meow?!
They let Walker in? What's his 3-point %? .123? Of course, that does not stop him from shooting like 5 threes a game...
It was funny to watch, he just kept jacking them up and missing. It was a good reflection of his time at boston
Mobley is going to play in the 3 point contest!!! Just heard it on 610am. Going against Brent Barry, Detroit’s Chauncey Billups, Denver’s Voshon Lenard, and Seattle’s Rashard Lewis. Stojakovic will be attempting to join Larry Bird and Craig Hodges as the only players to win the competition in three consecutive years. Player Made Att. Pct. Made Att. Pct. Brent Barry, Seattle 70 159 .440 946 2,337 .405 Chauncey Billups, Detroit 81 187 .433 626 1,677 .373 Voshon Lenard, Denver 72 183 .393 873 2,241 .390 Rashard Lewis, Seattle 68 177 .384 430 1,121 .384 Cuttino Mobley, Houston 79 204 .387 587 1,591 .369 Peja Stojakovic, Sacramento 111 258 .430 696 1,779 .391
They should have let Ray in too! As long as Barry doesn't try to pull the "I'll win in warmups" act again, he should give Peja a good run. Still, the other players are mostly streak players, so if they get on a roll, then it's going to get interesting... On the dunk contest, why don't they just have a "Sprite Rising Stars" dunk contest and another contest for the established stars? I'm getting tired of seeing DMase vs JRich all the time. And havin RJeff and Amare in there wasn't too exciting either.
Didn't they used to have 8 people in the contest? If so, it's easier to 3-peat now than it used to. I think they should have 8 people - the 3 point shootout is my favorite part to watch, so I'd like to see 2 more people competing.
Trivia question: Would Barry be the first guy to win the 3-point contest after he won the dunk contest?

Are there betting odds on the three point shootout? You have to figure Rashard or Mobley is probably a 20 or 30 to 1 shot. Anything can happen...could be an easy way to make a couple hundred bucks...
