I guess I must be overlooking all those vet-min players around the NBA who would be significant upgrades over Casspi. Can you give me names? And do you understand how the salary cap works? You can't just sign players to any amount and pay luxury tax. You can only go over the cap by re-signing your own players (or through very limited circumstances in trades), which Morey couldn't do anyway because he needed to clear cap space to sign Dwight.

You misunderstood what I was saying. NOT that it doesn't numerically take those into the average, but that that +15 wouldn't be the result you would get against the better defenses any more than +15 is what you would get against the weaker defenses.
Casspi per 36 minutes is solid. Anyone that wants him out of the league before he gets some playoff experience has an agenda. Let him get some playoff experience and then see what he can do.

Nah he just need proper coaching, he cant just drive and look for his own shot every single time even with defense on his face. he is still a good match up on 4 just need better shot selection and sometimes make the extra pass. u get him cheap and u get what he is, if u wanna better one pay more or coach him better.
Nothing like JR. Casspi is a one-dimensional player who can't create his own shot, but apparently he thinks he can. He should only be used to catch & shoot.
I think Casspi can be a useful player to have on the roster, but he's just not Parsons' back up. He doesn't have the handles and vision to facilitate and he doesn't finish well. He needs to gain some weight and back up the 4 spot and grab some rebounds or he needs to become an excellent 3pt shooter to get minutes.
Mchale should be more creative with his back up rotations. He was forced into doing that last night, but sometimes he should just go with who is playing the best instead if letting Casspi and Garcia have free reign.
