Funny cause if Francis or Mobley did anything similar to that they would get grilled. Francis got grilled just for getting Krunk after hitting those sweet shots over Shaq in the game we won.

Derek Lowe did the same thing to the A's after he struck out Terrence Long to eliminate them last postseason.

Coincedentally, Cassell used to endorse "Big Ball Sports" products.

Yeah, that's what I thought! Then I thought it was pretty dang funny: after hitting one of the biggest shots of his career, he's thinking about Major League II.

I understand the Barkley trade and have wavered on it's worth in hindsight many times.

Though, as of the last few years, I'm really on the "that was a bad trade" side.

I know the supporters of the trade point to the Rocks finally beating the Sonics after years of their crap-ass illegal defense.

But (and this is something I've been thinking about for a while), I still think the Rockets would have been able to beat the Sonics in 97, if not, definitely 98.

To my knowledge, no one has brought up the point that Shawn Kemp became a whale and destroyed that franchise. The Sonics imploded themselves. Time would have been our best weapon, but Les, Rudy, CD and co didn't have the patience. Also, Kevin Willis was a monster. I can't believe he's still playing.

Kemp became a whale when he was with the Cavs during the NBA lockout. He gained like 40-50 lbs because of that long offseason. Of course, that lockout was in the 98-99 season, rendering your theory as being wrong.

What you have to remember is that the fans of Houston do not have patience either. If we had 1 or 2 more years of being owned by Seattle, fans would have complained about how we didn't do anything to help Olajuwon and Drexler out. There really was no "right" way to do it. In hindsight, the Barkley trade didn't work out. But I am a firm believe that staying pat would not have worked as well.

And Kevin Willis never showed up for us during the playoffs.
